Y do people blame her album sales on promotion? OMG, I love how MTO is plugging Ashanti pretty much all the time, so just in case their, "she's only gonna sell 80,000," becomes selling way more than that, how they will say something like, "See y'all we helped Ashanti sell more than 80,000 records this week. Another MTO victory." Or some BS like that, because you know they will.
They want to set it up as if they win in either situation if she sells a ton, they will try to take the credit, or if she does only sell 80,000 or so, "their prediction," will have came true. Whatever MTO, quit being fake like that.
Again like I've been saying Ashanti, I hope the best for you, and want you to debut at a high position (10-2) if not number 1. And sell as many copies possible. Get 'em. Ashanti's body has always been on point!
ppl r saying that its because of her vocals that she is not selling but there have been many artists who don't have great vocals who have had success such as britney, janet, madonna, j lo etc she really just didnt get any promo and didnt have that much of a buzz i havent heard one person say there r checking for her cd but then again they didnt know about which goes back to promotions

Ashanti is a very pretty girl and all but saying she's got the best legs in the business is a big stretch!
Ashanti's legs are a bit too *** and stubby for that prize. I say of all the R&B chicks Mariah has the sexiest legs in the business. Girl even has them insured for millions!

Ashanti's album is actually banging her best ever. y'all should cop it and stop living to see people fall. it seems that MTO loves dissing people when they think they're down and that's not right. With gas and food being as high as it is maybe people have to decide if they want to get back and forth and eat or do i want to buy a CD you do the math which one is more important?
but if you have the extra money on hand i promise you the CD is her best ever and sexy as hell.

Don't bite the hands that feeds you, as the saying goes AND you guys know what I am referring to. My grandmother use to always say don't spit into the air because it will have fall into your face. I am quite sure she learns that lesson already. I am not saying that what she did was wrong but the way she went about it was wrong. Ashanti did great on Good Morning America... like her new single...the beat is fierce. uhh, the throw back with Ja was kinda hilarous; Ashanti was whispering the bkground vocals... I started yelling at the T.V. "Push the *** out" , lol. Seriously, I think she holds her own, she's just one of those whispering singers (e.g. Janet Jackson, Ciara, Mya, etc.), however her stage performance definitely needs improvement; it lacking substance.

I really like Ashanti, but I think that it's messed up that her Murder Inc crew isn't promoting her albulm at all. Gotti is stll her label CEO and he is acting as if he can give a *** toward her albulm. I am assuming that they are doing this toward her because she announced that she was leaving the Inc. After this last albulm, her contract would be done.

I like her and she can sing if she tries...lol, but seriously, I do like her, I just think she needs a industrial makeover, she needs a new label and new associates...she should really STOP bangin with Ja seriously, he is SOO *** OUT! its stupid!
