: MediaTakeOut.com has just caught word of an EARTH SHAKING rumor. According to a number of sources within the UFC, Floyd Mayweather is set to be the first big name boxer to sign on as a mixed martial arts fighter.
One UFC insider, who asked to remain nameless, told MediaTakeOut.com that the reported deal will net Floyd more than $200 million in cash and equity in teh UFC. Word is that the deal will be announced at a press conference set for this Thursday.

Boxing has become one dimensional since the emergence of MMA anyway…so if he can handle it, it’s a good move for him. He will be fighting in his weight class…and certainly won’t start against anyone much beyond a rookie, so the “stand up” portion of his game should be entertaining, however, if he hasn’t practiced martial arts before, he better take a crash course…a few leg kicks, a tie up and knees to the midsection will certainly take the wind out of his boxing sails. And…as mentioned previously…he better work on a ground game or be dayum good defending the take down as he may find himself being beaten to a bloody pulp.
Man Ya'll should stone whatever source u got. For one. The top Ufc fighters don't make a fraction of what Floyd makes now and Dana White aint stupid enough to pay 200mil for a name. Secondly Floyd would get his *** stomped. Boxing and MMA are very different (ask Kimbo). Unless Floyd KO with basically the first punch or b4 the dude can grab him, the flight is over, plain *** simple.

hes going to get his *** DESTROYED in the UFC..this isnt like fake wrestling where the fights are fake and fixed..this is REAL fighting..these men train for years in Ju-Jitsu, wrestling, boxing, and all types of martial arts..he wont be able to hang with these types of athletes and their skills..these dudes bust peoples heads open..even the best fighters get their *** kicked once in a while..this dude isnt ready..hes going to need some good training for a few years before he steps into the octagon..this fool better sit down and go invest in real estate or something
first of all Dana White isnt going to give this dude no $200 million for ANYTHING..especially when he doesnt have a strong mixed martial arts background..hes coming into the sport as a gimick..but all gimicks dont work, so theres no way Dana White is going to risk that much money on this dude..they might set him up with a scrub for the first couple of fights to hype him up and see where it goes..but theyre not going to back him with that much doe..if they do, I think all the UFC fighters should band together and protest..the best fighters are only making a few grand..not even a million..so why is this fool going to get all this money?
How can a boxer beat a martial arts fighter? There is no way that can happen and Mayweather is a ***. It's all about money and he is disrespecting the sport of boxing. When was the last time Mayweather threw a kick? When was the last time Mayweather put someone in a choke hold? A Ju Jitsu figher will beat a boxer any day of the week. MMA is not a place for a professional boxer, though boxing is used in this sport of course, but you need a ground game TO PRODUCE THE JUICE TO GET LOOSE!!!
