And get this - according to Us Weekly - the two wed in their sweats! The impromptu ceremony was conducted by the couple's family pastor in Virginia on Tuesday.
But all of you folks out there who got invites to their wedding in Aruba - don't fret. MediaTakeOut.com has confirmed that the couple are getting hitched again in a formal ceremony in Aruba on June 22.

CONGRATULATIONS 2 my favorite producer of ALL TIME Mr. Timbaland! The wedding would've been dope if Aaliyah could've been a bridesmaid, Static and the other members of Playa, Ginuwine & Magoo as groomsmen and Missy as the flower girl...lol I miss the old days like back in '96-'99 when they were all much closer. Now Timbaland kickin' it with Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado and there's no sign of Missy...she put out "Ching-a-ling" with hopes of an album release but she been hiding out this summer. And where is Ginuwine?

Because of the legacy of racism that has consumed life for the African-Americans for CENTURIES (slavery, rape, physical abuse, apartheid, just to name a few), it's hard for some of us to just say KUMBAYA and let's all get along and forget the past. And unfortunately, racism is still alive and well. This racism has led many African Americans to believe that African Americans MUST be inferior to non-blacks. That is why so many of the black posters on here think that the closer a person looks to white, the prettier they must be. Sad that the legacy of slavery has caused such self-hatred. Many African-Americans *** to this self-hatred by believing if they only mate with non-blacks, their children will not only LOOK better, but BE better. So blacks think that dating non-blacks is a sign of finally arriving - blacks in the south (and sometimes in the North) were routinely threatened with all types of violence, lynchings and killed in many ways. Although black men are viewed as sexual kings, very few GOOD stereotypes exist for the african-american woman. Therefore, when we see african-american men buck these self-hating racial stereotypes and marry beautiful african-american women, we are quite pleased. Pleased that not all african-american men are self hating. Please that someone sees beauty in the African American woman. Please that not all people are brainwashed that ideal beauty is being white with blond hair and blue eyes.
I am proud of BLACK LOVE and HAPPY every time I see. You aren't going to get ANY apologies here! And PRAISE be to trooper to be proud of BLACK LOVE too!

Anyone who makes this issue a skin color or race issue has problems with self-identification and I refuse to be a part of it.

@ ***. You misread my comment. My mom is black, dad white. And mom is not light. They were married w/2 kids over 7 years but it didn't work. He still did what he was supposed to do as a husband. As a beautiful black woman(not exaggerating), there were never any decent black male suitors. She was educated, good personality, *** good cook, and she worked hard. If you look around u, u will not see many MARRIED black couples. It's not as common as it should be. Especially when people have children together.That's all I'm trying to say.
