: MediaTakeOut.com just caught wind that the Russell Simmons-Kimora Lee divorce may be starting to get nasty. In a recent court filing, Kimora requested that she get sole custody of the couples two children and that Russell pay $500,000 a year in child support.
They haven't even gotten to the alimony or the division of assets part yet either. Get your popcorn y'all. This is about to get good....

First of all Kimora is wrong. This is the same man that help her launch a multi-billion dollar company. She has her own ends and can take care of her children very well. She is just doing this just cause he has money. I don't think that he she be put on child support at all because I know he will take care of his kids. Come on he wants joint custody. Believe me Russell has his own lawyers that will make sure they protect his money. I don't think she will have a problem out of him with getting child support. Some of ya'll need to learn the law. Just because the kids live with one parent doesn't mean the other parent is not supposed to pay child support. If he had full custody she would still have to give him money too. (Believe me this is true bc I have a female friend who is paying child support to her ex husband.) When considering child support, they look at both people's income. Maybe they agreed to that amount. Those kids have been living the high life since they were born. If they gave you money based on how much it cost to raise a child, everyone would be getting the same amount.

I guess some people do not know what full custody is. Full custody does not mean that the other parent is not a part of the child's life or doesn't get to see them. It means that they are with 1 parent the majority of the time. The other parent can still be a parent and still see the parent. Look it up yourself. [link to external website removed]

While 1/2 a mil a year seems to be waaayy too much $$ for child support, the fact is that the kids are supposed to be able to have the same lifestyle they were accustomed too before their parents split... I don't know what their financial situation is but it appears that they have fat fat fat $$$. Is it really true there was no prenup??? Russell is such a smart business man, that doesn't seem like a good move on his part, but I'm sure his lawyers will work it out. Kimora is seeking sole physical custody and requesting that Russell have arranged visits...... maybe every 4th or 8th week and excluding major holidays......
