The problem with these artists is that they are so anxious to be famous, they'll sign any contract. Most of the time, artists need to sell a certain amount of records to get some real money. Diddy probably gets first dibs of any money that is made, then they have lawyer fees, blah blah blah, and whatever money is left, if any, they'll have to split 5 ways leaving them w/basically no money. Ask TLC (although they weren't w/BadBoy)

Not saying that's right on Diddy's part, but the artist really need to do homework before signing these contracts.
