Djimon was great in Amistad but most of the academy voters are old white people so that tells you why fairness hasn't taken place in the past. I stopped watching the Oscars when American Pie won over A Man of Honor. That was the most asinine vote in academy history. Cuba Gooding, Jr., played that role to the hilt.
As for Djimon having a white woman. Get with it people. There's no conspiracy against black women here. A lot of Africans either move to England or have some contact with the English system so they're introduced to English (white) women more so than anywhere else. Perhaps this is the first woman who wanted to date him in Hollywood.
