And when the rest of the mainstream press reported on the story (without crediting us as the place where the story broke - as is standard practice among responsible journalists), everyone tried to play down the relationship between Morgan Freeman and the woman in the car - DeMaris Meyer.
Well it turns out that Morgan's wife of 24 years Myrna Colley-Lee is with MediaTakeOut.com on this one. Cause yesterday - while Morgan was in the hospital in serious but stable condition - she served him with DIVORCE PAPERS!!!
Now we could be angry with all the mainstream reporters who bend over backwards trying to find a way to NOT credit MediaTakeOut.com. But there's no need. We just have a little chuckle to ourselves every time we read about another round of firings at a newspaper or another major magazine closing its doors.

Then log on the a real news site to get the real story. The divorce papers have been filed, they are discussing ED, which stands for equitable distribution of the marital assets. What makes MTO think their average reader gives a damn about who's first at reporting a story or given credit for it? Then they have the nerve to write "responsible journalists" and equate that to themselves. Responsible journalists check there facts, spelling and grammar BEFORE printing or posting and retract mistakes when they are pointed out. Don't even try to put yourself or your readers in that category. It's night and day different. We can't even concentrate on the story with all the drama about your stupid personal issues.

Just as I stated. MTO refuses to print truth. They print THEIR watered down version of the story and then want to bash other sites for not "crediting" them as having the story first. Well, other sites had the TRUE story first, while MTO was busy trying to expose a so-called affair, rather than being more concerned about Freeman's injuries, and whether or not he was going to be okay.

Just a few days after flipping his car on a rural Mississippi highway with a female friend in the car, Morgan Freeman is headed for divorce.
Freeman's lawyer and business partner tells a Memphis paper that Freeman and his wife of 24 years are divorcing. Several sources have indicated to T M Z that the marriage between the two has been over for some time.
Multiple calls to Freeman's rep were not returned.
Freeman and friend Demaris Meyer were injured when the car they were in ran off the road Sunday night.

They were already seperated since December. So the f-ck what if she filed in August. They weren't living together and the marraige was already over. Just because you're seperated doesn't mean that you are still married. Only a piece of paper states that you are. In Maryland, you have to be seperated for 1 year before they grant you a divorce. If the spouse shows proof that you have a BF or GF throughout that year, they can file ADULTRY and win the divorce. If you sleep together again within that year...it starts over. Stupid laws we are governed by.
