@ KingRamses2U, I agree with you! I volunteer at the hospital and a while ago I was in the pediatrics section and an 8 yr old and her mother came in and changed the channel on the tv to BET. The little girl was singing the "chicken noodle soup" and "lipgloss" song word for word, but when I handed her a book to read, she was struggling the whole time. Kinda makes you wonder about the parents and how involved they are in their child's academic wellbeing.

I happen to be a very beautiful dark skinned girl and have many ugly light skinned friends, who wish their skin was as pretty and smooth and chocolate like mine. And as black people we really need to get off the dark skin light skin thing, that's the Willy Lynch Syndrome. Turn the light against the dark and the dark against the light, by making the darker skinned black people feel they were beneath a light skin black person. Grow up people!!!!!
