But get this. According to one of MediaTakeOut.com's snitches, they're not just looking to cast women for the house - they're also looking for at least one transsexual. Tells the insider, "We're not saying that Real or Chance will choose them, but [transvestites] should be given an crack at those two too."

I should have seen this coming, Chance is off the chain, he is too funny to me. He deserves his own show. I'll pass on this one. I can't even watch Ms. NY's show either. I can't take another Flavor Flav kick off reality show. They need to get with reality and find something more interesting to televise. These two clowns looking for a girlfriend - PLEASEEEEEEEE. They are nice looking men – but CLOWNS, especially CHANCE. I got a little more respect for REAL – but I aint watching them exploit women. Everyone knows those shows are a crock of BS. Rock of Love, Tequila, etc. where does it end already? All that kissing, etc. on multiple people at the same time – makes me sick to my stomach.
@ dicegirl so true. VH1 is almost getting worst then BET with the stupid degrading black shows. It's sad that a lot of us watch it and think it's funny. It would be another thing if we had more postive black shows to chose from and maybe balance out the ignornant shows. We really need to realize if we stop watching these type of shows and watched more things like Runs House or House of Payne that show black family in a good like we would see more of it. Wake up people we can't continue on the path we are on now.

Both of the kats are decently attractive, though a little cornballish at times, but WHY IN THE WORLD would VH1 even have the audacity to put a TRANSEXUAL on a dating show for these two? That's just wrong on so many levels like trying reinforce a destructive stereotype that most black men want to "get it on" with another brother...WTF?
The concept is very disrespectful to say the least. I always wondered why there has never been a BLACK "BACHELOR" series, on that show, that available bachelor is always "white", educated, wealthy and sophisticated... Are there no handsome, sophisticated, educated BLACK MEN that could reel in viewers? The media moguls must believe that no one wants to see "colored" folks in that capacity...as if we can only get ratings when "cooning"...

Honestly, VH1 dogs out everybody, not just us. Rock of Love exploits loose white women, That Tila Tequila show dogged out Asian and white bisexuals, even Charm School, Flavor of Love and I love New York shared exploiting drunk white girls, metrosexual men as well as black folks. We might be reading a lil too much into this stuff, cuz I'm constantly seeing drunk white chicks make fools out of themselves more than anything.

I will concur that the media has gotten out of control and I will even concede that we *** support "outlandish" programming... however, I do hope that you are not implying that anyone who watches Reality TV is crazy or somehow unintelligent.
Like I said in my earlier post, I would enjoy more respectable reality programming such as 'The Bachelor', but we must realize that what one might consider outlandish/crazy is SUBJECTIVE to say the least. Yes, Flav's show, especially the last 2, were prime examples of cooning and if he were to package another rediculous season, I wouldn't watch... but that said, some of the elders in our society might consider comedy classics like Martin, The Fresh Prince or The Parkers as having too much "shucking and jiving".

Just because a person's tastes differ from another's doesn't mean the differing palate is automatically wrong. It is what it is. Different.
But I will also agree that the "contemporary" stereotype for a tranny is becoming more and more synonymous with BLACK (see Diddy's new show, or The movie 'Holiday Heart' among others).
