Can't say that we think it's a good idea. But it'll give all the ladies a new shot at getting their careers on track....
After lefteye's death, they immediately said there would never be a replacement. That's why people need to think things thru before saying things out of emotion. A group does not survive with 2 people unless it started with 2 people. Or perhaps TLC's days are done.
The Supremes and many other girl groups have had to replace a singer. TLC should be no different if they want to continue singing together.

I find that a little hard to swallow. Lil Kim is definitely not on the same level as TLC. TLC's music is somewhat thought provoking and easy on the ears. While Lil Kim's music leaves nothing to the imagination, and is quite raunchy. Not a good fit at all. And, Lisa Lefteye Lopez sang and talked. Lil Kim can only rap. I looooove Queen B, But.... If TLC could go with a more commercialized artist, it would be less difficult for the transition. Going from Left Eye, a more political rapper, to Lil Kim, a more sex selling rapper is like moving from Japan to Mexico... TLC is known in many countries to be children friendly, radio friendly artists and no offense, but Lil Kim is used to being "LIL KIM". She is good as "The Queen B" and TLC will do good as TLC. If you don't feel comfortable trying a more commercial raptress, try it with just you two... It worked for Destiny's Child, they did phenominal with only 3 girls and only 2 of them can sing. I'm not hating but I think Lil Kim would ruin her bold, grimey, sexy image and TLC will definately lose the good girl image they worked soooo hard for, for so many years.
