Here's what 50 had to say:

I didn't start liking Jay until The Blue Print II album, and I think that was like 2002. He was dating Beyonce then. I truly wasn't a fan of his at all. Liked Nas better. It was around this time that he seemed to grow up. He was cursing less and not calling women out of their names like he previously did. I do think his relationship with Beyonce made him better known to all of her fans worldwide,cause everyone was interested in who she was dating, but 50 is really buggin if he thinks Jay wasn't known worldwide also.
