: Could Janet Jackson have faked the illness that reportedly had her laid up in a hospital on Sunday night? Well that's what MediaTakeOut.com is hearing. According to reports, Jermaine Dupri didn't appear at all worried about Janet's condition. And that's despite the fact that she'd been "rushed" to the hospital.

So just how serious is the "unspecified illness" that got Janet Jackson rushed to a Montreal hospital Monday night? Not serious enough for her fiance, Jermaine Dupri, to cancel his party plans.Either J.D.'s the most insensitive boyfriend on the face of the earth. Or Janet's a faker....The hip-hopper reveled alongside T.I. until 2 a.m. at Patron's Music in Motion Tour Party at Marquee, even though Ms. Jackson had taken ill at a sound check and canceled her concert less than an hour before showtime.
Wow, I've never been in the top 10. I must be early today (ehh... day off). Anyway, you know, when I heard this news, I kind of thought in my head "she's faking". I hope not. Besides, you never know what kind of party JD had to attend to. Janet is a business woman so I'm sure she understands that he has to do what he has to do for that money!
She is no faker and loves and appreciates her fans very much. And besides, it is breach of contract when shows gat cancelled and the concert venue will still get paid. Who would purposely throw money away like that? Perhaps she told JD she was all right and not to come? She only stayed at the hospital for two hours and my guess is she suffered from exhaustion due to her grueling tour schedule. And she is a perfectionist and pushes herself to the limit!

If she was faking it - she must've had a big fight with her boyfriend and couldn't perform anyway. But I honestly think she probably was exhausted and probably hadn't eaten - anything. She's probably too busy to eat and all that moving around is enough to land anyone in the hospital for a couple of hours REST. :)

The way I see it is, she did probably fake it. I do not agree with it, but I do not disagree with her actions completely. From what I heard it was exhaustion. I'm a Janet Jackson fan and all, but why does being a loyal fan of someone mean you have to be downright delusional about it???? Janet Jackson "SELLS OUT CONCERTS"??? Somebody's obviously still living in the Pre-J.D. days. Yes, the show in L.A. did sell out, and the Vegas show drew well. But there's just ONE little problem: Show in Vancouver drew 11,000 in a 20,000+ seat building, the show in Oakland drew 8,500 in a 20,000+ seat building, San Diego, Chicago, Detroit & Toronto -- ALL performed in buildings half-full. That's 9 shows, people. TWO of them had good crowds. TWO.
My good friend is a high-ranking sales exec with LiveNation, and he mentioned that the Los Angeles & Vegas shows are the only 2 that have drawn good houses. For example, this Thursday October 2nd was supposed to be the Philly show. Only 4,700 seats have been sold for that show in a building that holds 21,000+ for concerts. That's 25% capacity, my good people. I'm a Janet fan and all, but that's just trifling. So don't get Janet's past twisted with her present. 2 sellout shows out of 9 ain't nothing to shake a stick at.
And for anyone wondering if she's faking, YOU TELL ME if you'd be enjoying yourself if you were an international *** all those years, only to wake up 1 day to low record sales EVERY TIME NOW, and you finally go back on the road to "Show The Man You're Still the Ish"... only to go out onstage to mostly half-empty buildings in 7 out of the first 9 shows... you gonna tell me YOU wouldn't feel that throat gettin' a lil scratchy?? LMAO. And for anyone wondering, the advance sales on the remaining shows on the tour... yeah not looking much better. This is what I think about the whole situation. Ok you al reported that JD vomited on Janet and then she stormed out of the club. I bet Janet was *** even more *** that JD did not come with her. So then she leaves abrutly to her Chicago show, JD did not come with her and she is a little *** still. So when he doesnt show to the Detroit show she was like i need to pull a stunt to make him run back to her and he didnt. I think we are seeing these 2 first fight.
