: Last night Making The Band had its live finale of this season (as opposed to the season's finale - which was last week). In it - like MediaTakeOut.com told you many weeks ago - Diddy kicked Aubrey and D Woods out of the group.
His reason for letting Aubrey go is that he claims that she changed - that her ego has grown and she's very disrespectful to her other group members. I'm still not clear why he asked D Woods to leave. It almost looked like she quit to us - but anyways.
There were a lot of tears and a lot of dramatic moments, but now it's official. Danity Kane consists of Aundrea, Shannon and Dawn.
Oh and BTW ... we think that it was very fresh. of D Woods to not even show up to the finale after all that Diddy did for her. She claims that she had "other engagements." What is more important than being on LIVE TV????
Them heffas are STUPID. They let their success get to their head and all of a sudden thought they were big time. DO the math 5 members in a group going platinum = about 200 units sold a piece. IN order to trule get paid they had to go diamond out this piece. DIDDY WAS RIGHT. I WOULD KICKED HER OUT THE GROUP AND LET WHOEVER THE HELL WANTED TO LEAVE GET OUT TOO.

That “breakup” meeting took place a couple days after the VMA’s, they appeared as a group 3 times after that and D Woods is in London right now for the Mobo awards still promoting DK. I honestly do believe there are problems with the girls, and their label, and their management and so on. But this is just Diddy and MTV exploiting it and them to gain a profit. I was actually believing the whole thing until they just happened to throw out there that there WILL be another season. That sounds like they set the stage to have DK miraculously make up and come back stronger than ever. This whole thing is a ploy just to get sympathy and more money. And by that, i mean Diddy and MTV, not the girls themselves. The girls looked like they had absolutely no say in the matter when Sway mentioned another season, and none of them looked too happy about it. This was nothing more than a set up to squeeze another season out of them.

Woods leftthe room before Aubrey....what the hell was Aubrey still doing there when heBEEN told her to kick rocks?!? I'm sorry but I'm on tean Diddy with this one. It's not news that Diddy is a *** ***. EVERYONE KNOWS that. But he also puts his money where his mouth is. Aubrey started to get a big head and losing control and not considering how she represented the group. Diddy's vision was not for one memeber to stand out more than the others, especially for all the wrong reasons. Aubrey has her points, but she did not express them appropriately and Diddy can't have someone who works for him telling how to run his business. As for D. Woods, She was unhappy for whatever reason and was ok with the decision to be cut. There is more that went down that we really don't know. But I think there was a whole lot of jealousy involved. And I think Diddy had enough of Aubrey's attitude. Aubrey completely changed for the worse.
I think that was up to her to show.I mean if he were going to do her like Diddy did Audbrey again then hell I wouldn't have showed either. Honestly I think she may get back in the group only reason I see her not coming back is for her PRIDE..Which I can see her being high on..I don't thik Audbrey needs to come back b/c as she showed when she stood up and said whatever she screamed, she's not the lady like female the group needs..I feel bad the D.Wood got caught up in her lil' Ebony and Ivory thing but hey ppl chose their own friends..But as momma always says watch the company you keep and know that birds of a feather flock together.. As far as D Woods not showing up, I don't think it was "fresh" or "disrespectful" of her not to . She is no longer a member of the group, therefore she is in no way, shape or form obligated to make public appearances with them. I agree with Diddy's reasoning for eliminating Aubrey, but it seem like because D Woods expressed her dissatisfaction he wanted her out as well. This is someone's life your dealing with, you can't drop them and pick them up whenever you feel like it. " You're out D.Woods...Oh, no...You're still in" This is someone's life and emotions thats on the line and that should be taken seriously. I think she walked out because she was confused about what was going on and she wasn't sure exactly what Diddy was doing. It's clear that Diddy has not issue with her and there is room for reconciliation...Lets just hope for the best... :-D

Punk Diddy is the one who should be calling up D. Woods asking her back, she didn't do anything to get dismissed, only that she was friends with Aubrey and the fact he couldn't master his emotions. He was mad at Aubrey and just threw D under the bus.

I'm amazed at the number of people who think that DIDDY was right! Number one, Aubrey didn't get "fly" with Diddy, the problem he had with HER was that she was the ONLY person in the group (and probably his entire circle) who actually spoke up for herself and wasn't intimidated by him.
The rest of the girls in the group act as if they're afraid to say something, even when they're in the right and Diddy feeds off of fear and intimidation... that's why Danity Kane and Day 26 are the only MF's ON his label, because when everybody else gets *** and finally decides to move on, they have NOTHING good to say about him OR the label.

This *** stemmed from the fact that Aubrey said that there were rumors that he was working with Dawn for a solo project and that the girls didn't trust each other as a result - she said that she believed that he should have spoken to them about it, and HE said he didn't have to tell them ***! If ONE member of the group is getting some buzz and being made the focus of a FIVE person group, the other girls DO have reason to be worried about the stability of the group, so, even if it wasn't true, he had a responsibility to *** THAT particular rumor down to make the ladies feel comfortable on THAT note.
I think it was a publicity stunt because he mentioned that it's "up to the girls" which set the state for the next season, but it doesn't make me like Diddy any more.

I think Aubrey and D. Woods were the break out stars of the group anyway...Aubrey already has Hairspray on Broadway lined up and I am sure other acting/singing opportunities will follow. D.Woods was the one so many people liked ... and Aubrey ... was the one people loved to hate ... that's as interesting as that group got ... lol ... now with the remaining three (I don't even know the other blonde girl's name) he'll probably make a new season for recasting ... or else there's going to be a lot of yawning going on ... lol
I don't think D.Woods was a follower or co-signer. She was much more vocal in the front of the camera before diddy called her out about her weight in MTB3 season2. After that she was kinda reserved. Then after the incident with her and Robert went down she really didn't say much. She also stated in interviews that MTV likes to manipulate situations and edit things out so she's smart in the front of the camera. We never know who is the real force behind Ebony and Ivory when the cameras are not around
I saw it. I think Dawn is the only one keeping it real and has kept it real. When asked by diddy, she was the only one that broke it down to what it really was about. Aundrea dont know what she wants to do, the lil sweet and positive role Shannon plays is played out, Aubrey was getting to be a diva (and was she on something last ***! lol) and I liked D. Woods. I think she quit. She basically said if no one believes in us then what am i here for. Maybe if Aubrey and D-Wood's contract permit they will be picked up by another label, get better material and really become singers (if that is possible).
Bottom line is Diddy was right. He asked the whole group what was going on and was allowing them to work out the problems on their own. Once they failed to be real and acted like everything was okay he said look, since yall cant fix it I will fix it.
Aubrey is nothing like the humble and appreciative person she was when she first got picked. If she was a solo artist then she could present any brand she wants but those that are being honest must admit that she has definitely gotten brand new.

I think people live to make Diddy the bad guy in every situation. Like he said, that is on them. He doesn't have to tell the group anything. As long as they are still in the group they *** be worried about it. I doubt Harve volunteered info to Aubrey about Diddy working with Dawn and saying she is the future of Bad Boy. She was probably getting her info from the Internet and asked Harve if he knew anything about it. He should have told her to talk to Diddy about that.
I think Aubrey was way out of line in how she approached Diddy. I can understand her asking could he tell the group about it but she should have talked to him one on one. Even if they were one on one, she still needs to show him respect. He has busted his *** for too many years and worked with the best of the best, so he does not have to take her $hit. She is not the same girl we saw in Season 1. She started getting a big ego when Jason was in the house. The sad part about it is that Diddy sided with Aubrey because it wasn't him that was being talked down to. And I was getting so sick of her talking to Day 26 like they weren't $hit because Danity Kane had a platinum album. I think it's complicated. Aubrey hurt the group and not because of her ego but because she didn't need it...she is more popular and that popularity, by extension, makes the others seem small. It's a self fulfilling prophecy - as you see Aubrey more and more in the mainstream, you think "wow, she's the only member anybody cares about" and soon you come to not care about the others and they're essentially obsoleted. Danity Kane is not a viable act. It sounds crazy but I think it's a business move... Aubrey's popularity was making it so that nothing the group did was taken seriously...And it really doesn't hurt her to go because now she can capitalize off the situation, maybe get a new show - "Aubrey, ousted member of Danity Kane works to build solo career" and Diddy and the other MTV producers can keep the show going by recruiting new members to fill the position. I think it's business and we're all being tricked... Aubrey probably agreed to leave and not because she hated them, but as a business agreement with MTV. The show can go on now, right? D Woods, I think, might have been somebody caught in the crossfire...perhaps she didn't know there was a deal and was really siding with Aubrey. Well, I am no Diddy fan, but on this one...I mostly agree. Aubrey is simply immature. I'm sure that MANY of us would love to talk smack to our boss...but we don't. You know why?
