I don't think that there's anything wrong with wanting to do something different and wanting to advance her career. Like I said, I like Beyonce and her music, but her acting needs a heck of a lot of work. I in some sense feel that an unknown would probably be better to play the role, just because alot of these Hollywood celebs already have a certain typecast to them. It would probably be more believable to have someone new play the role. I didn't initially plan on watching the movie Cadillac Records but after watching the trailer I'm going to. They spend so much time talking about Beyonce is in this film that they neglected to tell the public that there are real actors in this film. (Notice I said 'real' actors, not someone who bought their Screen Actors Guild membership). Jeffrey Wright is in this film (he played Peeples from *** and Martin Luther King), Mos Def is in this film, Gabrielle Union and Adrienne Brody. THESE are quality actors. Not Beyonce. I think more people would come out to see this film if they market this the correct way and showcase the 'actors' in this film not just Beyonce. I bet she doesn't even have a large part in this film.

Plenty of people. Not only are there a ton of people who grew up on shows like WW and The Incredible Hulk, but there are a TON of huge comic book fanatics who push for these flicks.

Where do you think X-Men and Iron Man came from? Incredible Hulk, and now Captain America is joining the list. The Marvel Comic book/movie franchise is a billion dollar industry, and so is the DC comic industry. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman and the entire Justice League are classics with many followers, and when the movie is produced right, Hollywood gets a blcokbuster.

All of the superheros in BOTH comic worlds are related, so most of the superhero's in one movie can connect to the next superhero in another, generating alot of $$$ for the industry, because of their many fans.

An Australian model, Megan Gale. As for Beyonce, when I read the story initially I thought she was offered the chance to vy for the role. And then I realize that, no - she met with them to tell them that she'd like to play the role. It isn't so unusual...I know often when projects are in limbo, several people rush to finish projects (like the Dorothy Dandridge story) to get theirs finished and out there and I guess secured by THE studio. Okay, so having said all that, when you read the original interview in its entirety you see that basically Beyonce went to tell them she'd like to play the character. It's the movie they'd like to make and perhaps they'll turn out two films about Wonder Woman and Megan Gale will keep the role she was cast in whilst Beyonce plays the part in another. Two films isn't so far-fetched... there are two movies about Chess records: "Cadillac Records" and "Who Do You Love" and though aside from critiques by those who went to pre-release screenings and who served as advisors noone has reviewed the former officially, word is that "Who Do You Love" is a pretty solid film.

Now I don't understand how she wants to be a black Wonder Woman when she claims she's not black. The fool lives in a fantasy world and everyone that supports it, lives there too. I think Megan Gale was cast for the Justice League movie, which is an enseble cast like the X-men, which includes the Green Lantern, and the rest of teh Justice League members.
