: Good news may be on the horizon for R&B singer Lyfe Jennings. MediaTakeOut.com just got word that his baby's mother Joy withdrew her application for a temporary restraining order against the singer last week.
But that's only half of Lyfe's troubles. He still faces felony weapons possession and evading arrest charges in connection with a shooting incident last month.

I think she probably realize she's the one who made the mistake. There was no written report stating that he abused her in no kind of way. She just got caught up from what I understand and he found out where she was and being the soldier her is he went over there and was ready to get buck wild over his baby mama. It's good she drop the charges because he would of been messed up again. I don't think he would of been so lucky to get out this time, which by the way my son's science teacher was one of the guys who helped get him out the first time.
What the hell is the point of getting it in the first place only to drop it? If she was afraid enough of him to get it, then she needs to woman up and hold to it...Legitimate cases of abusive and threatening behavior are no laughing matter, and RO's are not something people should get and withdraw frivilously....
That being said, Lyfe is going to be doing a LOT of time behind bars so he won't be around anyway.
I just love it when a woman calls the police on her man and gets a restraining order just to take it all back the next day......
And if I'm not mistaken wasn't it her that was caught up in a situation and Lyfe came to your defense? Or was it something more? Was she with another man cheating and that's why Lyfe ended up going 51-50 on that A$$?
Yes you should be scared after getting pregnant, taking a man for his $$$, cheating on him, AND sending him back to jail after doing a 10 year bid!!!
Lyfe if you somehow (with God's Grace) get out of this situation....I would get a lawyer to take full custody from the girl who every time gets her panties in a bunch plays the "you on parole and I'll call the police" game.... She knew when she called the police, you were on parole and that you had items in your possession that would make situations worse. AND AGAIN IS IT NOT BECAUSE OF HER YOU GOT PUT IN THE SITUATION? And why is she putting her baby's father in jail vs just leaving you alone and collecting the check which was the origional plan anyway. Its obvious she had the baby for a paycheck.
