: MediaTakeOut.com just caught wind of a disturbing piece of information. According to the below court records, a few weeks ago a man by the name of "Greg Leakes" was evicted from the home in Sugarloaf, Georgia.
We were shocked because NeNe's husband is named Greg Leakes and they lived in Sugarloaf, Georgia during the taping of Real Housewives Of Atlanta.
This has to be some kinda mistake. Cause the NeNe we knew was buying her son $6,000 suits and stuff. She couldn't have got put out her house. Or could she?????
@ SINGLELYFE that is true. One of my girlfriends said that she was the only one that used a rental property her husband is in real estate and developing. Also did anyone notice that when Sheree was in that room on the day of her show that her carpet was raggedy and coming up and she was trying to cover it with a rug? I think all of the real housewifes of Atlanta live in rented houses with the exception of Kim in her townhouse. Based on the amount of money that they make as a separated ex of a marginal NFL player Sheree, there is no way he would be paying for her to live in a house like that. Because that would mean his house would have to be just as lavish and Whitfield is not a *** NFL player so he doesn't have that kind of money 2 support 2 households like that. No ex is that friendly that they are going to let you spend 6,000 on shoes in an afternoon. As far as Lisa house her husband is on the injured list and in the NFL when you are injured you do not get any money and their real estate income would not support a house like that. So when you add it all up all of the houses must be rented because none of their incomes support a lifestyle and a mortgage like that.

I choose to believe there is a better explaination that they just got evicted. Mr Leakes surely did not give off a deadbeat vibe but a man that was established and took care of his family, Nene didnt even appear to over spend now had it said Eric Snow.. that would have been believable with the super waterfall, governess, estate manager, nanny, cook, stylist, wack events and etc. etc while she not doing nothing.
Also, this is garbage the real story of the day with this bunch is the voicemails Lisa left on Anna Nicoles voicemail..funny how she all lawyered up now cuz she scared having a press conference. I'd like to know why she would call Lisa a crack ***? could she have been a crack *** if so God bless Ed's heart for helping her move on cuz she doing it now. Safe to say Season II is not gonna happen. ***, all the other housewife shows never had these kind of problems and leave NeNe be.
Not surprising! I read that Keith Sweat's ex-wife filed for Bankruptcy before the show. Everyone's saying that THATS her "real" reason for being a "work-a-holic" on there. Also, the other day on [SPAM] (I think) people were talking about how broke Sheree is and how she disowns her teenage daughter. SMH
NeNe's Husband Greg is a Real Estate Investor.
I would guess that this is one of his properties - that he may have lost due to the down turn in the economy.
He may not have been able to Lease it out, and decided to just let it go.

Lisa might very well be a hard worker. After I read what 1MoreThing said, I thought about how a lot of hardworking people go through tough times (death, illness, etc) and have financial trouble. I think that the reason why people are more sympathetic to "average" people is because Lisa is a "celebrity" on a "tv show" flaunting her riches. So most people might look at her like a female Dame Dash.

It's one thing to have a little money and carry a Louis Vuitton purse and drive a Benz. But it takes serious wealth to be able to maintain a lavish lifestyle over the course of a lifetime and with the exception of NeNe and Deshawn those other women don't have it like that.

@ImStillToni -- Duluth is the SAME as "Sugarloaf". "Sugarloaf" isn't a city -- people just say that to sound like they live somewhere fancy. I live in the Atlanta area and Sugarloaf is the name of a street in Lawrenceville and Duluth -- both of which are in Gwinnett County.
Similarly to how people say they live in Sandy Springs GA -- that's the name of the area, but the CITY NAME is Atlanta.

A Little More Digging....the home is under foreclosure, but not under the name of Greg Leakes.
I also looked up Winwood Properties. It MAY be a property management company. They basically take care of rental properties for a 5% monthly fee. Perhaps Mr. Leakes was renting from Shenaz Ali Kajani and stopped paying??? Hell I dunno. All I know is, I can not find a Greg Leakes and I dont know Nene's real name.

Kim -- she seems to be 29 no doubt. The court records are real. I thought that her house/newer condo. was on the market. (Just goto www.yellowpages.com ) Everything checks out with her. Although, I think that the music career is on "stop" right now and Big Papa Najjar is no longer in her life.
Deshawn ---- Well all is real. Eric Snow will retire this year (injury) and probably goto NBA tv as an analyst unless he becomes an assistant with the Cavs. Their house is their house.
Lisa --- is doing her thing. Some peeps got the 411 with all of that ole Keith Sweat biz and her past. Her hubby Ed Hartwell now 31 was cut by the Oakland Raiders. He had a good career for 6 to 7 years mostly with Atlanta. Hey Detroit (Lions) got a job for him! LOL Her real estate agency has been doing o.***. but all things are down right now.
Sheree ---- She's got a few dollaz! Bob Whitfield left the NFL in 2006 after a stellar 15 yr career with various teams. GOTO NFL.com I'm sure for the last 10 yrs. prior to 2006 he was pulling 2-3 mill per season... So, let's say that they had...may still have some $. Gregg is a Real Estate mogul, this is one of his houses he could not sell, everyone is going through the recession. @ dealbreaker. It is a John Weiland community, (I live in a John Weiland community too. LOVE IT!) but maybe the owners of the home used Winwood Properties as the leasing agent. (I.e. they hired Winwood to rent out their home b/c they could not sell b/c the market is so bad.) A possible explanation. But I agree, this whole thing is fishy. But I still do believe that they rented the home to protect their privacy and the actual owners of the home may have been foreclosed on. This does not mean that they do not own a nice home of their own or maybe in the process of having one built. Who knows? I just don't believe they are broke and homeless.
@MeReallyDontCare. Glad to hear that you are a happy John Wieland Home owner. Maybe we can teach the people on here a few things. I checked MLS and FMLS neither show the house ever being listed. The home was purchased back in 09/2006 and has never been relisted. NOW typically before a home is completely foreclosed it is listed in one of those services as a resale, *** sale, etc.... It has never been listed. I will have to call the agent up at Stonehaven @ Sugarloaf (another beautiful John Wieland Neighborhod) to see what the is status of that property.....stay tuned
The bank (mortgage company) can dispossesses (evict) a homeowner through the foreclosure process. The home DOES NOT have to be listed for a *** sale if the bank does not choose to do so. *** sales are provided to "benefit" the homeowner (insert laugh)by reducing the total debt ouwed to the bank. True you loose the home, but your debt is lowered to the difference between the proceeds from the sale and the original amount owed.
Nonetheless, most of the recent reality shows feature staged lifestyles, so it is quite believable. Also, the stars aren't rolling in the dough. It depends on the contract, see Flavor Flav and his reasoning behind doing so many seasons. VH1 made a killing, he did not until renegotiations for the later seasons.

the only housewife I like on this show is Lisa. She seems to be self sufficient and knows what she's about.
