Mannn.. i grew up as a Jehovahs Witness and it wasnt easy knockin on doors of my classmates.. especially if you werent beavin yaself.. it would suck to see a kid you were just in detention with the day before or some girl you liked... crazy.. and as far as Prince goes..the person who put him on to being a Jehovahs Witness was that singer Larry Graham (one in a million) yea that guy.. he's been one for a long time and kinda became Princes mentor..
since my mom & stepdad still are, I wont say anything BAD about the organization.. but umm yea, its one interesting situation.

@ all of the mis informed people out there. Johavah's Witness is not a cult, crazy looney wacko, whatever you want to call it. It is a spiritual belief. Going from door to door is a tool used to put out the news to people. Do we all really beleive this is the way God intended us to live? Death, murder, desease, dispair, starvation, war? Do you really think its going to go on forever? If so, I am sad for you. Look beyond yourself and at the very minimum, respect everyone's belief system and spirituality if its different that yours. Different is not wrong just....different. It really isnt that hard. If its not for you, its not for you.
Prince has been affiliated with Jehovah's Witnesses for many years. There is nothing wrong with going door to door and spreading his beliefs. I take literature when Jehovah's Witnesses come to my door and I have respect for what they have to say. I have even read the literature and it's very informing. Though it may not be my religious choice I respect it as others should.
LOL! Most of yall on here is ignorant to the fact that when JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES come to your door, they do have a positive message about the bible and about Jesus Christ and his father. Yall slaming doors on God's people really make you feel good! That's actually sad....if most of yall took time to read your bible you wouldn't be ignorant to the fact of what this religion teaches. If you actually listen, it does make sense. More sense than what the hypocrites teach in the churches! The only reason why people hate on Jehovah's witnesses is because they try to live a clean moral life, and adhere to what the bible has to say. What's so wrong about that??! @ msak1- I agree-they are a cult. They were found in the late 1800s and they orginally started off as a Bible Study group, but they decided to make a full-blown religion out of it.
I don't really mess with them becuase I find that they're belief system confuses being "Jesus-like" with actually being "Jesus."
They are a very hypocritical and intrusive religion, and I just cant get with that. They come to your door preaching friendliness and Godliness, sure. They base a lot of their teachings on the bible, true. But have yall actually been privy to what goes on in the Kingdom Hall. They persecute you and publicly humiliate you if you make a mistake.
Don't believe they're a cult, go ask somebody what happens when they become, "disfellowshipped." Better yet, ask them who determines their "disfellowhsipment," and tell me it dont sound like a bunch of people trying to control others using the bible as a scapegoat.

Its called "field service" for those of you that dont know. 80% of you dont even know the first thing about the RELIGION except for what it is stereotyped as. Read, and learn for yourself. It happens to be one of the, if not the, purest religions. Jehovahs witnesses are normal ppl just like you they just interpret the bible differently. Put it like this..if I have to trust and rely on one individual and I had to choose from a JW and someone else..I would choose a JW 100% hands down.

I understand but I've yet to meet a JW who's cool with you just taking the literature. They are more aggressive than great sales people. Maybe it's only where I live.
I am always pleasant to JWs that I encounter. I get frustrated when I tell one that I am a Christian and have no wishes to change my faith and they don't seem to get it. But again, this is my experience. I'm not speaking for everyone.
Ya'll better start opening up your doors and listen to what they have to say because they are only doing what Noah did back in the day and u see what happened to those ppl that laughed like you all are doing. It's gonna come a time real soon when you're gonna wish they came to your door. We are in the last days! I'm studying because the prophecies they've been preaching about is coming true I'm starting to see it for myself. Ya'll better listen before it's too late.

God didnt intend for us to intake smoke, get tattoos or anything else to the body, stealing, abuse, hatred, road rage, sleeping outside marriage, violence, worshipping a car, idolizing another person, doing the stanky leg, picking up somebody $20 and not giving it back etc. There are a millions ppl in the world do that isnt right yet ppl do them because other ppl do them and they think is the way of the world and its ok. The way of the world is not gone lead to a positive end result.
I will admit that it is not easy to be a JW you do have to give up a lot change your life, live right etc and a lot of ppl cant do that especially younger ppl.
I respect the religion and know that I cant do it. I refuse to speak on it and not keep it all the way real. I just cant do it at this stage in my life. But I wont be another religion just so I can do all the things I cant do as a JW either. It makes not difference what religion you are....living right is living right and living wrong is living wrong.
@ CATER2DAHATERS-Disfellowshipping occurs because they don't tolerate people who want to bring unclean moral ways, and a bad attitude into the congregation. The elders listen to the person before this actually happens, giving them a chance to repent from their actions and adhere to counsel. It's only when that person has a bad attitude is when that person is dis-fellowshipped from the congregation. Where do people get off saying that this is a cult? Give me a break! When you're a JW, you just can't live your life any kind of way, saying you a christian but on the other hand, you going to the club, drinking on the regular, having ***, smoking, and doing whatever else. When these things happen and you get caught up. EXPECT TO GET DISCIPLINED....the bible says you can repent, but it has to be genuine and from the heart. And you have to show works that prove you are!

Does Jesus come down and tap one of the elders on the shoulder and say, "that repentance was sincere" and or do the elders get together like a little gossiping group and decide whether or not THEY want to disfellowship you? The bible says, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." It doesn't have a clause that says, "unless you're a JW, then you can throw stones all you want as long as you're an elder." It *** be up to the ELDERS to discipline people for what they feel are wrongdoings, thats GOD's job.

Women are giving these men an avenue to not be who they really are. They are accessories to the lie. It's not that serious to settle in order to have a man, a black man. Stop stressing over the fact that you may be 30 and single. This is why I have no sympathy for the Star Jones, Terry McMillans and countless of other women I see perpetrating this lie.
And further more, can I ask...How are the elders chosen? Is it a "VOTE?" Is the title of "elder" passed down through the bloodline like a royal title? How exactly does that happen?
I happen to know for sure that nepotism is alive and well at the "Kingdom Hall." They make and bend the rules for whom they want to. Trust.
I am not a religious person but I must say that to refer to Jehovah Witnesses as a cult is so blatantly ignorant. If that is the case, all religions are cults because all of them are based off of the beliefs of someone or something else. Jews would have every right to refer to Christianity or Islam as a cult. Catholics would have every right to consider Baptist forms of worship sacrilege.
If there is a God, I don’t think he cares how you worship him as long as you believe and try to live your life in a positive way and have morals.
There was a time when I would pretend not to be home when the Jehovah Witnesses would come to the door but I had a great teacher in high school that helped me to open up my mind. Now if they come to my door, I accept their literature and I may even share with them my “beliefs.”

And you so hung up on this election....yeah it is true that man can't fic the problems of the world. Look at all the president's we have had, and it still hasn't been done. So you tell me who can bring about peaceful conditions, a new heaven's and a new earth, no more death, suffering, pain, outcrying, mourning, bring about a ressurection, abundance of food for all???? Don't be so mean to the witnesses. I think the door to door thing is brave personally. It takes guts to do what they do. I invite them in and talk to them but just advise then I'm not converting and we seem to both get something out of it. I even invite the Latter Day Saint's folks. Hell...one day my man had them at the house when I walked in from work. My man is 6'11 straight outta Brooklyn, ball player, spirtual man not religiously inclined and he's sitting there philosophying with the fellas. I was done. Proud, but done!

@ AllAboutMeWill: I dont listen to TD Jakes or any of them other false "prophets" either. I think that a lot of religons over the centuries have been misinterpreted, modified, and strangled to the point where most people just believe whatever their "religious leader" tells them.
I used to go to church, (catholic, baptist, and visited a temple once, as well as went to the Kingdom Hall a few times), and ALL of those religions have their fair share of scandal, and deceit. However- Catholics make you pray to seek repentance. Baptist churchs tend to let you "testify" and pray to repent. The Temple lets you privately repent. Kingdom Hall hauls you in for an intrusive interrogation, then tells you they will let you know in a day or two what they decide.
THEN at the next "meeting" with their "congregation" they announce to the entire crowd that you have been disfellowshipped until further notice.
(For those of you who don't know- they make this announcement so that all of the other JWs know that you are now "unclean" and they cannot talk, speak or be seen with you, or else they risk being disfellowshipped as well.)
Thats is needless, and uneccessary public humiliation and outcasting. Find that part in the BIBLE! Because I alwasy interpreted the Bible as saying that Jesus lloves all, and accepts all. Didnt he befriend a ***? OR did he tell everybody she was a *** and that they *** talk to her or be seen with her, or else he wouldnt be their friend anymore???
THAT'S why I praise, pray and speak with GOD everyday......from the confines of my house, and from the corners of my soul. Forget a collection plate. Jesus loves me because he answers the phone when I call to speak with him.

You have no idea what you are talking about....If in fact that Elder was caught doing wrong he too was disfellowshipped....That is a fact!!!!....Please KNOW all of the facts before you speak about it....There is NO ONE on this earth still living that is perfect and Witnesses don't claim to be either!....They claim that they know the bible and how Jehovah wants people to live and THEY DO!....Sit in judgement of yourself....

And I've gone to (visited) Kingdom Hall, the annual conventions, THE WORKS. The ONLY things positive that I can say about JWs is that they don't have "Pulpit Pimps" like Eddie Long and Creflo (Get the) Dollar and they DO know the word and are very willing to teach it, but other than that, they INNER WORKINGS of that organization are DANGEROUS and DISTURBING. Operative phrase: INNER WORKINGS. NOT what you see in the street. The extreme levels of control and fear placed on congregants spill into the households where a LOT of abuse takes place -- physical, spiritual and even sexual. ALL of my friends and family members have experienced one or more of these attrocities -- all in the name of CONTROLLING and ensuring "PERFECTION". Doesn't and DIDN'T WORK.
P.S. I actually do agree with their justifications for not celebrating holidays -- PERSONALLY and mainly because the mainstream ones strip the true meaning from them (e.g., Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, etc.)

Prince is SEXY! Period Point Blank. He is the only man who gets a pass from me when it comes to the "glitter, makeup and heels"
All of the other men who these women tend to glamorize, i.e 50 Cent, Diddy, etc, those are the ones that come across as *** to me.
Prince is ***, 5'3 to be exact. He has always been self conscience about his height that is why he wears heels. He has not had any cosmetic surgery. He does however look good for a 50 year old man. I haven't seen the glitter since the 80's when it was fashionable for all the rockers to do it. Guns *** Roses did it, Kiss did it Motley Crue did it. I don't see anyone questioning Tommy Lee's or Gene Simmons' sexuality. The make-up is part of he show and his on stage persona.
*** I love Prince! He is hands down the most talented man in the business and puts on a great show.

That is all true. Prince had been "teetering" on the fence for a while but actually converted to being a Jehovah's Witness at the request of his mother who was dying at the time.
He has always been a very spiritual man and you can hear it is his music. Prince has made nearly 30 albums and every song isn't about f@cking.

The MAJORITY that actually DO the right thing are middle aged and married. At some point in people's lives they want more than cars, money, fame and bed partners. They want something that feels like they're helping man kind. Look at all the charitable foundations people have created.
Prince should be careful with that denomination though. They normally don't like the aspects of show biz. I read where Prince no longer sings some of his old music due to the explicit lyrics. I can buy that but I can't buy what they did to Michael Jackson. Mike and his siblings were raised as witnessess. However, when Thriller came out they told him they didn't believe in the occult and tried to persuade him not to go that rate. Thriller was make believe, not real and it disturbs me when people attempt to categorize Halloween and Thriller with real Witchcraft. That could be farther from the truth.
Also, they usually want their members to date each other, not someone outside the church.
I've seen people die because they don't believe in blood transfusions either. I don't understand that part of it either.

First off, while i'm not a JW, i have thoroughly researched the religion (not a cult, that's absurd!) and i have distant family members who are JW's...let me try to clear up some ignorance on this post. First off, what the difference from a religion and a cult! What makes JW's a cult? Pure stupidity to even think that, and clearly once again, another rumor an uneducated person has heard and CHOOSE to believe.
JW's are not being "judgemental" because they read a passage of the God's word to you and encourage you to live your life by the bible. That is what every so-called CHRISTIAN, no matter what religion, is suppose to be doing anyway. You're suppose to preach the word everywhere. To be a christian is to follow in Jesus footsteps. To say a person is being a hypocrite or being judgemental for quoting the bible is just outright stupid...but i do know that, that's commonly what people say when they don't want to change, or they don't want their wrong ways thrown in their face, cause they don't want to change. How in the hell is it judgement for one of god's children to read a scripture that says "thou *** not fornicate, or thou *** not do something." CRAZY, i've heard people say a person is being judgemental when they do this, but really all they are doing is preaching the word of the Lord via usage of the bible. SO you if you gone get mad at somebody for saying it, you really mad at God, cause it's him talking to you. Don't call a person judgemental for quoting God's word, you sound like a fool.
Secondly, JW's are people, human beings like you and me..so when you wrong them, why wouldn't they take your azz to court?! You sound like a fool. ANd i understand what they are saying regarding voting..they have a hope in the lord, their hope does not lie in politicians making the world better, so why vote. The bible has already said man cannot solve man's problems. So voting would be a waste of time to a person who have no wordly hope. And like i said, JW's are people like everyone else, they are falliable, they fall to the same things that we all fall to, like drinking, drugs, *** outside of marriage and crime. Nobody ever said, AND to think a whole religious group is without sin is ignorant and stupid! The difference though, is that JW's are TAUGHT to repent, being trying one's best not to repeat the sin, making a consorted effort to change one's life, genuinely. I'm christian, and i know plenty of christians who don't even feel bad when they sin, let alone, try their hardest not to repeat it! So please, i'm not shocked when i hear a JW has sinned...only ones who don't sin are perfect people, and there's not one perfect person on the earth.
About disfellowshipping, it's a type of discipline to keep the organization/ religion clean. Maybe if more religions did that, than more of their church members would feel more comfortable going to church and believing in the RELIGION itself, after hanging out having *** without marriage all ***, and knowing the person you're sitting next to was your partner. JW's will not allow uncleanliness..if they know about it, usually the perpetrator go and admit the sin, and they are not AUTOMATICALLY disciplined. The talk very lovingingly with the individual and try to see what they want to do and how they feel. If the person insist on doing it again, or feel they weren't wrong, then disfellowshipping MIGHT take place. However, if the person express genuine sorry and distain for what they have done, then once again, DISFELLOWSHIPPING may not be necessary. SO in essence the one who commits the sin sort of determines what will happen. JW's are very loving warm people, and they want to keep their members, and not lose not one sheep to the world. Everything they do is for the love of the person, and to keep the congregation strong and clean as possible. So many churches will let you do whatever you want to do as long as you come to church and keep paying tides. HOwever, God's Holy Spirit cannot exist in a unclean environment....God's Holy Spirit is his tool to accomplish his will. THerefore, because churches allow so many things to go on, KNOWINGLY and without discipline, God's Holy Spirit does not and cannot exist there, and therefore, the congregation suffers alot.
I know alot because my relatives talk to me alot about it cause i was curious. I've read alot of the material, and i did a lot of research comparing it to other religions.
I would LOVE to be a JW, i believe they are GOD's people. They are so loving, warm, genuine, and they try their best to live by the word of the bible, though sometimes they fall.
Some people don't like JW's because they preach the truth! They don't tell you what you want to hear so you can stay in the dark and in your ignorant ways, so you can keep practicing sin. But there are some churches, not all, that will tell you no matter what you do, as long as you claim or acknowledge the lord as your savior, you're saved. And of course alot of people cling to this cause it allows them to have a "fake" relationship with god, and yet, sin, sin, sin, all they want. And they be front and center at church on Sundays, and don't miss a sunday, and all the other days of the week, sin without repentance and further thought.
If i wasn't so addicted to so many worldly things, i would love to join their organization and be in God's favor. One day when i grow up and give up cursing and living like a heathen, then if Jehovah God will have me, i would love to be a JW.
Some people simply don't like religious people...well say that instead of hanging on and clinging to dumb rumors you've heard.

@Shi: Oh no dear, I've never been a JW. I understand what I read way too well to have been talked into that. However- I have several friends who are JWs and I've gone to more than a few Kingdom Hall meetings with them just offering support.
However- after I began actually SEEING for myself how they practice, and doing some research on them, and actually talking to people whom are STILL JWs and a few others who smartened up and left that "cult"- I was turned off and appalled at some of the things they do, and they way they conduct their "spiritual business."
I have very religious friends who I love dearly because they truly LIVE what they believe in. They don't just say theyre Christians for the show, they are truly Christian. And in the true footsteps of JEsus, if anybody needs help, or prayer, they will pray, worship, talk to you and help you get it together in the name of God, without ever opening their mouths to lambast you, outcast you, or disfellowship you. Thats the way it was supposed to be. Jesus guides- he doesn't judge, and they follow in his footsteps if ever I've seen it done.
They understand that being "Jesus-like" and being "Jesus" are two different things. True Christians dont feel the need to "discipline," "outcast" or "disfellowship" those around them because they already know that no man whatsoever, is able to "discipline" of "disfellowship" with the real power like God can.

@Cater2dahaters: You seem to be really hung up on disfellowshipping. Let me give you an analogy to help you see things differently. No doubt you know that Jehovah's Witnesses desire to be clean and of upstanding moral character. When baptized witnesses(those who have dedicated their lives to Jehovah(you can find his name at Psalms 83:18) God have gone against God's righteous standards, why would you want a person dibbling into the world's practices to taint those in the congregation trying to live according to Bible standards. If you took your clean hand and shook hands with a person with muddy hands what will happen? Will your clean hands become dirty or will those muddy hands become clean? That is why 1Cor 15:33 says, "Do not be misled, bad associations spoil useful habits." Perhaps you should research a little bit more. When a person is disfellowshipped they are not kicked out of the congregation, they may still attend meetings. They are unable to go out and minister to people like yourself. How can we as a Christian organization send people into the ministry to preach God's righteous standards if one is not living it themselves. The question remains, would you allow your child to continue to associate with an individual who gets them into trouble? Tell me how exactly do you ascertain what the bible says then? Do you:
A: Listen to a spiritual leader interpret it? (If so, you would just be going off of someone else's interpretation which may not be necessarily right.)
B: Interpret it yourself? (If so, like you said, you may not understand EVERYTHING it says in the bible and therefore, your interpretation may not be necessarily right either.)
C: Or like Shi stated- do you depend on the same version of the bible that is ised for the entire relgion of JW in all countries except that it is translated in different languages? (Because if you do- that bible/watchtower has also been translated by other people who put the translation into their own interpretation, however their interpretation didnt start until the late 1800s some 1800+ YEARDs after the ORIGINAL version was written. And therefore, that translation that you read, may not be necessarily right either.)
Truth be told- nobody with a bible may be totally correct in what they interpret it to say, it has been translated so many thousands of times, who knows what it truly said and was meant to say inthe beginning. However- to go around and claim that JWs are the only ones who know God's REAL word, and they are the only TRUE ones who follow and correctly interpret God's word...well, that just shows how un-Christian you are.
And @ Saint Lou: I am not speaking on what I hav heard from others at all. I researched it, talked to people in AND outside of the JW religion, and if you read, once again, I stated that I've actually went to the Hall and listened in on theri teachings more than a few times. My knwoledge of the religion comes partly from the history of the religion which I've researched and mostly from me actually being there and seeing it with MY OWN TWO EYES!
And you're right- God rewards those who constantly seek the TRUTH, not just seek what they find favorable to their ears or comfortable to believe in.

I simply stated that I believed that they were a cult and that many of their practices were hypocritical to the teachings of the bible which they claim to follow.

The people who are saying all of these negative comments about Jehovah Witnesses are only saying this because they dont know/understand the religion nor are they trying to. Instead of sitting down with a Witness with an open mind and heart and listening to what they have to say, you decide to jump to conclusions. I mean have yall really sat down and talked to someone who is really strong, spiritually and has dedicated (by baptizism) their life to Jehovah?! Seriously, have you? The elders and/or appointed ones encourage you to read the bible more so that you can learn more about God to build and keep a relationship with him. The elders do help interpret the Bible for us but at the same time they HIGHLY suggest that we read and meditate on it yourselves so that it is long lasting in your heart. And what they read is not just in their bible. You can read the exact same thing in the King James Version.
Jehovah Witnesses are not perfect nor do they try to portray themselves as being perfect. They make mistakes just like everyone else. They do all the things that you do b/c temptation is powerful whether you are spiritually strong or weak. That goes for the elders of the congregation as well. But the difference between witnesses and the rest of the world, is that witnesses (more than the majority) have a conscience. And they worry about how, what they have done, will affect their relationship with Jehovah God. They know that God will forgive them as long as they repent. And I'm an example of this. I was just recently disfellowshipped. But I'm not bitter about it, like those people yall talk about because I know I was in the wrong and they do to, they just don’t like the outcome (Hebrews 12:11). I'm happy that Jehovah (through the elders) has disciplined me and showed me his love because God only disciplines the ones he loves (Hebrews 12:4-6) If you have done wrong then you must face the *** just like everyone else. Just like I did. I repented because I want my relationship with God to be back on the right track. Can you say the same for yourself?
Just because you dont believe in what they believe in, doesnt entitle you to belittle them and bring negativity upon their religion. You may want to sit back and reflect on your own life before you decide to judge someone else's

Most of them are more than happy to talk to you about their religion if you ask, and a few of them have been disfellowshipped and gone back and attended meetings and been reinstated and such. There is not one JW friend I have that talks bad about the religion, however, I just cant PERSONALLY get with a religion that teaches that its okay to outcast, and ridicule and psychologically traumatize somebody because an elder said, "jehovah says that man can do that." And please believe- none of my friends have been crazy enough to try and convert me. We have open discussions about religion, and I don't have to agree with their beliefs and they dont have to agree with mine. Furthermore, I dont slam my doors in their face or disrespect them because they are first and foremost PEOPLE, and they deserve respect. I usually accept their watchtowers, and read them, and Ill even feign interest in whatever they wish to talk to me about that day. However, if they should ever make it to my door, I have some questions and thoughts that I would like to share with them regarding the "practices" and "beliefs." (Funny how ever since I witnessed that "fiasco" at the hall, I havent ran into another JW yet, and I am in all the same places I was before....hmmmm....)

That is so true. I do not refer to myself as religious. I am spiritual. The bible, the Torah, the Qur'an all of them were written by man. "God" the "Creator" Jehovah, what ever you chose to call him (or her) should be in your heart. Simple things like not killing, stealing, lying and cheating are univeral and you don't need a book to tell you it is wrong. You feel it because as a human being, you have a conscience.
All of the other things, not wanting blood transfusions, praying to saints, not celebrating Xmas, etc that is all cultural and in my opinion, has nothing to do with a promise to God.
I support Prince 1000% I have read each & every blog on Prince & his desire to spread the "Good News" and I must give the utmost respect to honeylove25, chrisclassic, allaboutmewill, calliecrew and saint lou for attempting to explain to the misinformed. I have the utmost respect & love for the Jehovah's Witnesses & also want all the bloggers to know that you've really helped me in finally admitting that it's where I need to be. As I said in my very first thread- I respect the religion because it is a belief system, I just dont buy into the bs that comes along as a result of it.
The 10 Commandments are a basic staple of every bible- everything else past that is up for interpretation by the many religions out here who worship by differnt standards. However, calling people demons, and satan believers, and ignorant of the truth just because they dont worship by those same standards is unecessary and unGodly. That is so true. I do not refer to myself as religious. I am spiritual. The bible, the Torah, the Qur'an all of them were written by man. "God" the "Creator" Jehovah, what ever you chose to call him (or her) should be in your heart. Simple things like not killing, stealing, lying and cheating are univeral and you don't need a book to tell you it is wrong. You feel it because as a human being, you have a conscience.
All of the other things, not wanting blood transfusions, praying to saints, not celebrating Xmas, etc that is all cultural and in my opinion, has nothing to do with a promise to God.

Same here. From what I've read, God promises us all everlasting life if we just except Jesus Christ as our lord and Savior. And of course the word also teaches us how to live. The word has been misinterpreted by man for so many years and that’s why people have their own separate beliefs. It’s not because ur religion is right. I don’t believe God judge people on how well they know the word. Hell I have ran across atheist who know the word as well. I think it’s about placing God in your heart.

@ cater2dahaters, i have to say that for the most part, i agree w/ you. i have wise counsels that i go to for sense of direction when i am not clear on what God tells me. they always tell me that i have to go through Jesus..... well that isn't true, and i am so positive about that it warrants no arguement... when i dont give God attention everyday, he says something to me!
but really, if any of these people belong to a religion which yes, is a cult- then it is their walk. you may not need the guidance as they do, which is why they belong to organizations. dont knock it. instead enjoy your one on one w/ God!!

I love how you can quote one scripture that can help you to make a point BUT, you will sure enough run away from the scriptures that will condemn you for something else....BUT, you are not unlike the rest of the world that uses the scripture to help them find a loop hole so they can justify their actions....Bible principles vs. Bible laws!....Make sure you look those up too while you looking for things to justify foolishness!

Personally, I don't agree with genetic engineering. As it relates to food, I think that it's a MAJOR cause of early puberty and many of the early-onset cancers that women are suffering from -- that we didn't have to once worry about so early on in life.
I'm all for organic -- but obviously it's a really expensive option. I'm behind schedule, but my plan is to grow my fruit and vegetables from now on in order to cut out as much "tampered with" food as possible.
