: Move over Superhead, there's about to be another NY Times best selling author dishing dirt. MediaTakeOut.com just learned that R&B singer Angie Stone is writing a book called Life In The Shadows of A Sex Symbol.
And get this y'all, Angie is gonna be talking openly about her encounters with Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey and others.
But it gets better. According to MediaTakeOut.com's sources, Angie will discuss her private conversations that she had with Beyonce about her then secret romance with Jay Z.
You see, apparently, Angie was Beyonce’s confidante during the early days of Jayonce. Here's what Angie told Sister 2 Sister magazine, “I was right there in the beginning when Beyonce started dating Jay-Z, and I was a friend and confidante to her during those times”.

She's 40+ why would she do such a childish thing like that. I keep telling my momma that people aren't the same as when she grew up. You can't trust nobody these days. People are shady. And that's only if this is true. It wouldn't make any sense. She has a daughter almost Beyonce's age. She should think about that. Again, if this is true, 'cause I know how MTO! does.
I've never seen so many YOUNG people writing memoirs in my life. Do they feel they've lived such a quick life that we need their bio by the time their 30+? Most people are 60, 70+ by the time they get around to life stories. LOL...it's getting younger and younger. I guess if you're from the street, you've lived the life of a 65 yr old by the time you're 25.

That's what kills me, these broads acting like they are so interested in you and being a support, then putting you on blast. I'm very limited in what I tell people and there is a good reason for it. I recently went on vacation and a co-worker came into my office thinking I was going to tell her what happened all day everyday. My response was about ten seconds long. She was shocked.

Bey/Matthew/Jay would kill this book if it had any "real" dirt inside...they do not take kindly to the spreading of their business, plus that was what 6, 7 years ago, who cares about the start of their romance, they are married now, big whoop hearing about a few first dates. I'd prefer it not even be in the book.

Im not surprised by this. When I saw Angie on celebrity fit club her attitude was nasty as hell. All she did was complain and complain. Take a note from the tragedy of Phyllis Hyman. Stop trying to compete with the young "it girls" of R&B. Concentrate on your music. The Angie Stone that I love makes strong positive songs like black brother. Don't go down this road Angie.
this book is not going to list all the juicy details. i think she can only say but so much. people will read the book thinking they'll get hot *** scenes and this and that, but in reality, she might not really touch base on what readers want to know. another chance to make a dollar and readers will still be wondering what happened with bey and jay, but money already spent, and at the end of the day, angie got paid and beyonce got a cut.
I like Angie Stone but it's not her place not is it her business to speak on affairs or matters not pertaining to her like Jay and Bey's relationship. She can speak on her friendship with Bey but anything in dept about their relationship is just out of pocket. Maybe this is just a gimmick to sell the book...

As a fan of the original B Angie B there seems to be some animosity regarding the success of Beyonces' career as oppose to Angies success.
