I believe Sheree is selling the house probably based on the final divorce agreements. It's common for the marital home to be sold and divided up, unless the wife can buy up the equity.
Sheree lives the good life, but, she also spends outrageous amounts of money. She just spent money on her fashion line. Since she cannot draw, sew, do patterns, or anything else but wear nice clothes, and needs to hire expensive professional designers to do this for her, it may have cost her a FORTUNE to produce one seasonal line's samples.
I can't judge her lifestyle, just because she wants to live like a princess. She had a kid at 15, and some hard knocks until she grabbed the gold ring and a rich husband. She deserves to dream the American dream, just like anyone else.
She didn't come off well on the show, but, I actually believe Sheree is probably a decent woman, who wants something better than her beginnings. She seems like she is honestly insecure, not full of herself. If there's a second season, I think we may see her feel more comfortable with herself. I know that when I was going through a divorce, I put on this front that I was ok, and hot, and in the best place, and I even believed it, but, it was a front to keep others, and myself, from seeing the cracks.
She seems like a good mom, and unlike Kim, who is offensively vulgar and trashy, Sheree is classy, and tries to be a lady.
But, Sheree spends money like she's a billionaire, and seems to live above her means. She has over 1000 pairs of high end shoes. That could be 500,000 in shoe investment, not to mention those 1000 dollar frocks she picks up like they're free. She lives the good life, and aspires to this. Nothing wrong with that, but, she obviously can't buy her ex-'s share of the family home, and they needed to sell the house for that reason.
I wonder if these women are sorry that they signed on to the Bravo series. The blogoshpere is joyfully dissecting her, discussing her ***, her child at 15, her big nose, her ***, her this and that. Underneath it all, she's just a middle-aged woman who is trying to find herself after being comfortably protected by a rich and famous husband.
I'm rooting for her to succeed. There's something about her that I like, inspite of her prodigious materialism and fondness for Kim's singing voice and belief that she is beautiful. If I looked like the black Kim, I'd be doing more than investing in Botox under the eyes... I'd be calling Dr. 90210 for a top to bottom overhaul.
