It's unfortunate that it took rap videos to give big a$$e$ some room on the playing field, but truth be told, if it wasn't for rap videos [exploiting?] a great percentage of the beautiful black female body, this percentage I am speaking of-with me included-would never be seen as physically beautiful. I love JLo, but when she came on the scene-the media acted like she drew her a$$ into existence-as if countless (black) women in the entertainment business had no note-worthy a$$eS before JLo. I don't care if it's: dreads/course hairstyles, full/big lips or big a$$e$, when it's on anything other than a black woman it's "beautiful," and when it's on a black woman, it's ugly etc. I don't get it-especially coming from other black people. It's [unfortunate?] that there still is that percentage of black women who do not have as revered a body as the two girls on the pics, but to say that these girls are anything other than beautiful is certainly untrue. They are fit, they are firm yet supple and like it or not they are here-deal with it, I say. These rap videos however, I must say, have isolated a certain [not-so physically voluptuous] group of black women (white women too I might add), who are OBSESSED w/other black women with big tight round a$$es$: ON THE JOB...at the grocery store, message boards, at the club-everywhere (trust me, I speak from experience). What do JEALOUS BIATCHES expect for a woman with a big a$$ to do? Wear a big frumpy grandma skirt? Some big frumpy jeans? Hellllll no. Would that make [you] feel better? Are we supposed to hide our beautiful a$$e$ so that you won't feel insecure around us? Granted, big a$$e$ are "popular" and some women (white and black) get injections/surgery, but there ARE women how've been lugging that mofo around since age 10 and just like some women can't help it because they got a FLAT a$$, they too can't help it that they got a BIG a$$. They don't need to lose ANY more weight than a woman with a flat a$$ needs to gain some. Any well-kept body is a good-body. These rap videos have done two things: put a bad biatch with a bad body on the map whereas other media outlet's would never give up no shine in that direction, but rap videos have also made a whole lot of mad biatches mad just the same. You best believe, I know some size -0 women who can put on some clothes that make a girl like the two up top on these pics WISH they were a size 0. If more women stuck to what worked for their OWN body, they'd be more at peace with their own body. It's a lot of fashion out there to make anybody's body look good-embrace your own, I say.
