Well it was a bit much BUT I'd have to see what that child did before I could call that "abuse". That was a good, old fashioned ***-whooping back in my day and if you got it you deserved it~!
@mythangBIG-...LOL- you must be younger than 20, not black or from the South, cause any adult in the neighborhood would have beat your *** if you misbehaved, and that's BEFORE you got to the house and your mama finished you off! Anyone who was in elementary school in the 70s...you got yo *** paddled at school and again when you got home and it wasn't no "you better not hit my child" coming from your mother. I can tell the young people here are very delusional when it comes to raising a child. Word of advice: Don't send your child to a REAL ADULT and think he/she won't get that *** tapped if they act up.
You know WTF made people think their bad-*** children are untouchable??? White people trying to raise a child by reading a Dr. Spock book- that's what! Black parents must have lost their minds and tried to follow that example...look at what a mess we have! I'm no abuser but I believe in spare the rod spoil the child.
EVERY DAY we see children cutting a fool in public and there are the dumb-*** parents, just laughing and thinking it's cute. Then when they're teenagers the parents can't control them and they calling the police to come get them or screaming like a banshee that you got the best child on earth when they're being carted off to jail for armed robbery and murder. Nope, you got a bad kid that you didn't discipline.
Children are children and if you "get them" when they don't know better you won't have to worry about them "not knowing how to act" later. If more parents would discipline their children and stop trying to be their "friends" we wouldn't have so many dumb-*** young'uns running around thinking they're grown...and getting teeth knocked out or worse finding out they're still JUST CHILDREN. To this day...at 22 years of age they won't even raise their voices to me. Yes, I'm the ALPHA ***! LOL
I had to remind my mother about the "pink comb" she took to my *** when I was little. Yep, she tried to tell me don't spank my sons...but I didn't hear that yak-yak when they drew all over her walls with a Sharpie. She tapped them ***! My grandson's mother who told me "Be careful, he hits" I told her, "no problem I hits back." Then the poor child told me "my gram-ma don't believe in spanking". -SMDH- I had to school her; "this is YOUR child not yo granny's and you better teach him something at home or he will learn it here." "Perhaps if your gram-ma believed in discipline your mother would be around for you and your siblings and you wouldn't have gotten pregnant at 16." She got mad. I don't care. I don't play that mess.
