It seems kids have found a new way to get high by inserting vodka soaked tampons into the vagina. And just so the boys won't be left out, it works rectally as well. This is one of those awful things that no one wants to believe is possible, but read on.If you search the Internet, you will find some dispute about whether this is a real occurrence or a rumor. Keep in mind that many vaginal medications are routinely administered via tampon, and that the unprotected membranes of the vagina and anus would allow alcohol to enter the bloodstream faster than the acid protected gastrointestinal tract. The truth is it doesn't matter how it started, kids may try it when they hear about it.
It's important to stay one step ahead of your kids when it comes to drugs and alcohol.

I dont believe this at all. this is another urban legend that stupid *** people try to analyze to see if its actually possible. you can easily bring a Gatorade bottle or water bottle to school and fill it with alcohol. why the f*ck would you burn your vagina or rectum to get drunk when you can do it an easier way that is proven to work. dumb *** people actually believe this is going on. theres a website dedicated to calling out bullsh*t lies like this, I wish I could remember the name of it
Idk, this could be true b/c thursday i went to the dollar store and these two boys [they were white if it matters] but they bought all the tampons of the dollar store shelf...idk why but they did. they dropped $60 on tampons. but im 17, and never heard of this, we dont waste alcohol if we manage to get some!

I have been a woman all my life, and I have NEVER - NEVER, EVER, EVER, NEVER - heard of meds administered by tampons! And if there was a need for suppositories, it was for something local, not something to be absorbed into the bloodstream.
Who is your research azzclown MTO? Maybe they need to go to the doctor and ask for "medicinal tampons".

Its also important to mention the risk associate with this. I heard of people doing it on campus and its an EASY way to get alcohol poisoning. The body filters the alcohol but to put insert it vaginally or rectally would be similar to injecting it straight into a vein. Be careful or consequences when chasing the High.
The smarter the kids get is actually the dumber. Yeah lets think of a new innovative way to get high/drunk. But its just causing much more damaged to your body in its systems. Just idiots! Just like with Meth a new way, but actually it was worse and DUMBER! Jesus someone please school these kids and get them in church!
Yeah I saw this on the show Doctors last month. They don't get high they get drunk and it's extremely DANGEROUS because they have no clue how much alcohol their body is consuming. It's also gross. These little w*ite kids(hope it ain't no black kids doing it too) is CRAZY.
Whatever happened to just hitting the blunt and sippin' on yo drank from the bottle? At least that's what we did when I was a Teen.

@MISSWEST: You are so right. This is very dangerous. An adult male, who was an alcoholic for many years, died from alcohol poisoning following a red wine enema. This is something that people with seriou alcohol problems have been doing for years. The intoxication level is more intense and it speeds up the process, without leaving the tell-tale alcohol breath. Extremely dangerous.

So MTO posted it here so now ALL the kids know about it. Geee-good look MTO. In my day the drinking age was 17 so we never had to sneak but I'm glad to see that most here don't believe it... Well unfortunately kids- this is not a legend, it happens and so I was just told it doesn't burn. LOL!!! No offense ladies but y'all know there are a few "fishy woo-woos" out there that would probably benefit from a *** of vodka up there ...penicillin and some more *** too. LOL!
