: CINCINNATI (AP) — A man convicted of killing a friend and assistant of T.I. has been sentenced to 66 years to life in prison.
A jury in Cincinnati last month convicted 34-year-old Hosea Thomas of murder, felonious assault and illegally having a gun after a felony conviction.
Philant Johnson died in May 2006 during a running gun battle on Interstate 75 that followed a T.I. concert in Cincinnati. Three others were injured.
The rap star, whose real name is Clifford Harris, took the stand during Thomas' trial and said he believed the shots fired at his entourage were really meant for him.
The Grammy-winning rapper was not hurt.
@Mocha
I co-sign 100%. Just this weekend this cool lil kid I *** pool with. *** and killed this dude. This kid is small like 5'3" and the dude was like this thug dude that keep talking *** and followed the lil dude to his car. Lil dude popped him 3 times. Now his fam says he's crying and *** saying he shoulda just drove off.
It's scary how quickly someone can make a decision that will SERIOUSLY alter their ENTIRE life. SMH
@***.......
That's unfortunate for your friend. Although I think the point Moca was making is different from your pool buddy. Your pool buddy doesn't appear to be a killer; he was more or less provoked.
The guy above appears to have left the house with the intentions of killing someone. Looking like a professional.
I just don't understand why people do crimes like this. He is too old for this ***. He was someone's son and I'm sure someone father and now his life is wasted. I think I would go crazy if I had to spend the rest of my life behind bars. He has to worry about somebody raping him. I would rather be dead.
Another black man gone for a senseless crime. ***.
Now maybe Fake Bankhead aka Snitch *** TI can sit his *** down somewhere. Rappers need to stop claiming *** that they KNOW isn't true and stop trying to be thug when they are soft as Parkay.
That's how a killer looks. It aint the hardcore looking types that will bust a cap in your ***.The quiet looking ones will get gangsta right quick.
---MZ KIKI--- WE DO NOT NEED GUN CONTROL. PPL NEED TO USE THEM RESPONSIBLY. Y TAKE OUR GUNS AWAY AND THE ONES OVER US HAVE ONE PLUS IF WE ARE PUT IN THE SITUATION AND NEED TO DEFEND OURSELVES WITH A GUN THEN WHAT...AND THIS IS SAD AND ALL, BUT MY VERSION OF BRUTALLY MURDERED IS WAAAAY DIFFERENT THAN THIS. SAY LIKE BEAT IN THE HEAD WITH AN AX, FINGERS CHOPPED OFF AND ELECTRICUTED..ECT. YEAH HE NEEDED JAIL TIME, BUT I COULD THINK OF ABOUT TEN PPL RIGHT NOW THAT NEEDS THOSE 66 YEARS...LIKE CHILD MOLESTERS AND CHILD KILLERS...OH AND ANDREA YATES.
kimkelmor Flag post When Remy Ma rightfully got locked up for *** her ex-friend, 90% of the people on here were *** off, saying she got screwed, telling her to "keep her head up," and calling her victim/ex-friend a liar and snitch.
T.I. testifies against (legal terminology for "snitching") the person who should rightfully go to jail for killing his friend and it's all good. Nobody's calling him a snitch or liar, and nobody's telling the killer to "keep his head up" or saying that he got a raw deal.
I'm glad the person has been convicted and will never get out of jail, but it's amazing how sympathies lie on this board. A life taken is a life taken, right, no matter who's it is. A snitch is still a snitch, even if you dress up the word and call it "witness," right? -------------------------------------------
Did you read my mind on this one?
Every word you said......I havent seen the word "snitch" used once....but let somebody do it(testify, point out, participate)....and they want to fo back to the hood rules......
Is T.I. cutting up money? Im just sayin'
