: MediaTakeOut.com just caught wind that rapper Lil Kim is NOT AT ALL happy about the new Biggie Smalls biopis Notorious. And in an interview with the magazine Hip Hop Weekly, she speaks out about it.
Here are excerpts from the interview.
HHW: What are some of the discrepancies with the movie?DANG … sounds real petty to us. But, it’s DRAMA … so, we’ll take it.LK: There were so many. They were disrespecting me terrible in that script but the one that sticks out to me was in a scene allegedly when Ms. Wallace came to see one of Biggie’s shows for the first time and I was supposed to be so mad at him about something that I pulled my panties off on stage and mooned the crowd with my p—-. What the f—?! Come on, don’t you think that would’ve been in the history archives? They’re using Lil Kim to sensationalize their bulls— lying’-a– story. That was the last version of the script I saw, which somebody had snuck to me, ’cause people didn’t want me to see it.
HHW: Have you spoken with Faith and Ms. Wallace?
LK: : No. Honestly, I don’t have no words for them. But, one thing I will say is, I’ve had enough and I’m about to expose them both. That’s it. I’ve been quiet for a long time. You don’t hear me talking about none of them, and to be honest with you I’m really disappointed in Faith. I remember a few years ago she did a magazine interview where she talked about having a lot of respect and love for me. She said, “Kim was Biggie’s girlfriend and I was Biggie’s wife,” and how that was hard for her to deal with. Then later on she writes a book and in it she tried to change it and say some stupid s— about how I was his jump off. I laugh at her because I remember years ago being in the studio with my then boyfriend at the time, Scott Storch.
We’re in the studio, Faith was in another room and she called Scott’s phone and said “Oh Kim’s with you? Tell her I said hi and that I got love for her and hope that her and I can talk soon and be friends.” I was like “wow!” I thought that was really big, considering that I’m a woman who her husband was in love with. I felt like that was real big.
Me and Scott even thought of doing a record with her, thinking about how big it would’ve been for hip hop and for the Biggie family. She even sent her daughter China, who I love and took care of sometimes down to me, and China was like, “I love you Kim and my mom told me to tell you she loves you and hi.” But, here we go years later, I guess the funds must be low; because somebody told Faith, “you gotta write a book and you gotta come at Kim in the book.” It shocked me, ’cause I thought we had come to some kind of unity. I thought it was really tasteless. She could never play poker because she already exposed her hand. Faith, you know me, I’m an extremist I go hard. Once I start I don’t stop. Why would you wake up this sleeping giant?
HHW: And, what about Ms. Wallace?
LK: : There’s nothing Faith or Ms. Wallace could do to stop me from reppin’ B.I.G. all day. I’m gonna always do that. They want to talk about people exploiting Biggie, to me this is the worst way you could exploit his name; by disrespecting people who was around him who he had major love for. The truth is gonna be known. Like how a while back Ms. Wallace was on the radio talking about how we never mourned together and that she never knew me.
It’s crazy ’cause she and I lived together in Biggie’s house for almost eight months after Biggie died. On top of all that, out of the kindness of my heart and the love I had for Biggie, I share five percent of my publishing with Ms. Wallace; just out of love, making sure that if I ate, she and the kids ate. And at the end of the day, this is how she repays me? It’s time for Ms. Wallace to be exposed.
HHW: Will you go see the movie when it comes out?
LK: Hell No! I might watch it on bootleg, for legal reasons. I don’t mess with Cease and them at all, but even they know this is not the real Biggie story. If they say something different, I ain’t mad, ’cause I know they’re rolling along for their little three minutes of fame, doing what they gotta do to hold on. I just want people to know, I have nothing to do with the film and I’m not supporting it. I’m Currently working on my life story where people will get the Naked Truth about Kimberly Denise Jones a/k/a Lil Kim.

Lil Kim has made some valid points in her argument but their is always two sides to every story, If she is giving Biggie's mom 5% of her publishing then that is cool, I need more facts before my opinion could be placed in this matter. Marriage means nothin'. Just because he married Faith, doesn't mean she has the right away. Alot of people treat marriage as an activity nowadays (even then). Remember he married the chick in less than two weeks (which shows he didn't have much values for marraige anyway).

You know this girl wrong. Even if mrs. wallace did give misleading comments about this situation. One thing we all know is biggie really loved his mother and he wouldn't put up with anyone disresepecting his mother. I read Faith’s latest interview in Sister2Sister and she did not make any negative remarks about Lil’ Kim. I actually thought her comments about Kim in that interview were positive. Faith said (not exact quotes) that she did not believe Kim owed her an apology, and that what happened between them was a result of Biggie’s actions, that her and Kim had a common denominator = Biggie. They were both in certain places in their lives during that time which influenced their behavior. She also said she has forgiven Kim for her part in the drama, grown up and moved on. Faith also said that she is proud of Kim’s growth and believed she has moved on too. Her comments about the movie admitted that some of the scenes were dramatized to hype the movie up. My impression of the Sister2Sister interview is that everyone became WOMEN. I really hope that no one is still holding any grudges.
However, I understand Lil’ Kim’s position about feeling betrayed. She wants to keep things “real” but she also needs to understand this is “Hollywood”. Negativity and sensationalism is what makes the money and many times the truth is twisted in order to do so. Look at all these ridiculous TV shows portraying young black women as promiscuous multiple breeders and black men as promiscuous deadbeat fathers. Most of us know those images are not accurately representative of black youth.
Remember the Tina Turner movie? Ike was depicted as a monster. The question is did Ike really do all of those horrible things to Tina? We don’t really know - none of us were there, plus there were a lot of details about Tina’s life that were left out in order for the film to present her with a certain image, so that the audience would only perceive her in a specific way.
Ms. Wallace and Faith should not be the ones to blame for this. It’s the creative editing and sound bites that the media uses to create drama and keep people locked in. Sometimes a person being interviewed will not acknowledge knowing certain people and/or incidents to avoid opening up another opportunity to be drilled by the hungry press and to respect the privacy of others involved.
If what Lil’ Kim is saying about the true nature of her relationship with Ms. Wallace, Faith and the Wallace children. They have all done an exceptional job of overcoming a very painful and complicated situation. It’s good to see love among black women especially those that have hurt each other.
Lil’ Kim believes that Biggie was in love with her (with good reason to) and that she was with him FIRST, but the question remains is why Biggie chose to wife somebody else? It’s not like Faith was the Suzanne DePasse of Bad Boy Records or something and even if money or connections was the reason, why stick around and let his greedy *** have the best of both worlds? Everyone deserves someone to be fully devoted to them and respect their feelings.
This is a prime example of how boymen play girlwomen against each other, and girlwomen catch the entire negative labeling (***, stupid, weak, etc..) unfortunately the boymen are hardly ever held accountable even though they play the major part in the drama they created.
It’s time that women grow up! Stop being “little girls” and hold these guys accountable for their actions. Stop directing all the pain he has caused you at these other girls. Confront him! Deal with him! These thirsty women cannot get a drink unless HE is offering one! If he is seeing you and another woman at the same time, he is not holding allegiance to either one of you! You may think you are finer, better, nicer, smarter, that he loves you more and your stuff is better, but that is only what he will LET YOU THINK to keep you in line because if he truly believed you were his EVERYTHING you would not be sharing him. His indiscretions don’t mean you are not good enough either! The man who may not be on the same emotional level you are or share the same view of what it means to love or build a relationship. You have no control over other’s behavior only yours. You can do all the things you think you should to keep him happy, and if he still steps out on you, it could be that you are wasting time trying to be a good woman for a man that’s wrong for you. If you love someone and that respect and love is not being reciprocated equally, don’t let him tie up your time! Drop him and wait for God to send you a man that is secure and mature enough to appreciate and respect what you have to offer no matter what you think your flaws are.

NYC: Well, I'm glad you brought that up because Faith Evans came out with a book called "Keep The Faith". CBM: Hmmm. NYC: In the book she talks about her experience with BIG and she discussed you a lot in the book but she never calls you Charli Baltimore. She always refers to you as Tiffany. CBM: She ***. At the time I was Tiffany. When Biggie and I were in a car accident that's when I became Charli Baltimore. It came from us being in the hospital together. I was already doing the rap thing but I didn't have a rap name. So she would call me Tiffany. I had discussed this with Faith. Me and Faith had words and we definitely had our little moments but we never had any physical altercations. It wasn't anything totally disrespectful. When BIG passed, I called Faith and gave my condolences to her children because I thought that was the right thing to do. She knew about me and I knew that BIG still had feelings for her. They were going through a separation, a divorce. The problem that comes is that Kim (Lil Kim) made it seem like she had a relationship with BIG that they really didn't have. I don't aggressively go at it and try to dispute it, like if you want to make people think that yall had a relationship that was outside of ***, then that's fine. That's your business. People believe that. So it's always like well, where did Charli fit in? Or where did Tiffany come in? Me and BIG were in a relationship!

Like in a way, I was like well wait a minute if you acting like this with everybody else..... CBM: Even though BIG and her weren't together, you know, he loved her. And that's real talk. I mean he might have loved her but that *** didn't work out. I never disrespected her to the level of saying anything out of pocket. KIM on the other hand, I don't know what the hell she thought or maybe she's delusional as to what BIG and her had going on. I don't know. Alot of people profitted off of BIG's death but that was never ever ever my intention. And that's why I don't talk about it cuz I feel like there's no need to. I don't want to profit off of somebody's death. BIG recognized my talent. Obviously, he hasn't written any rhymes for me cuz he died so I'm not going to sit around and constantly talk about BIG. We were together for 2 years. I think that people who should discuss it should be his mother, his wife or maybe his best friends. NYC: My other question to you in regards to BIG was did you ever have any negative experiences with Lil Kim? CBM: The only thing that I can remember is having a really crazy argument over the phone. I never had....and she's been in my presence many many many times cuz I used to go to the studio with BIG to work on the album. I know Sub 0 said some *** about somebody rolling on me or something and I was like ***! (Laughs) You better do a little more of a background check on me before you start saying somebody rolled on me! (Laughs) Don't let the light skin fool you! NYC: I agree! (And we crack up together cause I'm high yellow as well.) CBM: My experience with KIM was an argument over the phone. I didn't know her and BIG was dealing with each other. I didn't know they were ***! NYC: Wow! CBM: I've seen BIG flip out on her a couple of times and I was like "Why is he flippin on her?" BIG would tell me she ain't doing what she's supposed to be doing. But I did not know they were *** for at least the first year we were together. I mean I was around that *** everywhere! I was in that "Get Money" video! She was there, I mean come on it was their video! I didn't know they were ***! I had no clue! So one day we got into an argument over the phone. It started because I answered BIG's house phone and apparently she was claiming she had been there the *** before and BIG told her that we broke up. *** this! That's what she was screaming and hollering at me. I'm like, well, obviously, we didn't break up because I'm here and answered the phone. (She laughs as she remembers the incident) I don't know what to tell you. She was like really screaming. It was a heated argument and she was saying some crazy *** as far as...I guess...whatever they did the *** before but my whole thing is well, I'm here today and I don't have to tell you, you're not coming over here ***!

CBM: I mean you could be mad. I don't know what to tell you. I wasn't in shock. I mean he tried to deny it but I was like Yo! she had entirely too much information. I remember one Christmas, BIG had bought me this jewelry and I remember going to the studio and KIM came up to me and told me the jewelry was really nice. It was a bracelet and a ring. It was a diamond ring and she asked me "Did you get that for Christmas?" I was like yeah BIG bought it for me for Christmas. Then I remember looking at her face like...it was ballin up! She said it was nice but you could tell it wasn't sincere, it wasn't genuine. Even after that it still didn't dawn on me. She was mad as *** though! I remember BIG asking me what should he get KIM for Christmas and I was like ***! I don't know! He was like maybe I'll get her a watch and I was like Oh! That's nice. Whatever. I was still not aware that they were ***. I guess when she saw my ***, she just flipped. I thought about the incident that *** but I had no clue. I thought they were cool. He wound up eventually telling me but he never elaborated that it was anything deeper than that. After the confrontation over the phone, I remember her doing an interview on the radio and kind of like....they was asking BIG was he in a relationship. He was like yeah, I'm in a relationship with a girl from Philly and her name is Tiffany. I remember him calling me cuz I wasn't speaking to him cuz I was like you know this is crazy! This is some real *** and he was calling me like Yo! I just did an interview and I told everybody you were my girl. Like, I guess that was supposed to make it better? (Laughs) I was like Yo! You really need to get your *** together! You got too much *** going on! But as far as taking it any further than that...once he died, KIM was like she was his girl. I thought that was really inappropriate cuz at the time of his death he was still married to Faith and she had just had a baby. As a woman, she should've had some consideration. Everybody's different, you know, maybe she doesn't understand that cuz she doesn't have any kids. I don't know. I know I was really hesitant about talking about BIG at that time. I knew that, that baby was a newborn baby and regardless of whether or not they were together it had to be a crazy situation for Faith to deal with. Especially with a baby. So I never wanted to discuss it any further than you know, the people that knew.
NYC: I see. CBM: I remember being at the funeral and this chick (Lil Kim) fell out on the floor and I was just like Yo! What the ***! Like, Faith was up there singing and she was very composed and very respectful. And here goes this girl (Lil Kim) on the floor and she starts rolling around on the floor! I was like what the *** is going on? I was in the back, in the cut. I had some black shades on. There was 100,000 *** there and I don't know what *** was...Yo! I remember this girl (Lil Kim) walked up and *** near jumped in the casket! NYC: Who? Kim? CBM: At the funeral! I was like Yo! This *** is crazy! It was like a circus! I've been through alot of deaths and I've seen alot of people get killed. I've been to alot of funerals and I've never seen anybody actually get into the aisle and roll!!!

Tupac, God of Hip-Hop, best of all time. Maybe. His tracks definitely did not lack substance but, at the same time NO ONE had WORDPLAY on lock the way BIG did. His RHYMING SKILLS were SECOND TO NONE. And that includes Em and Jay. The only other artist that comes to mind with wordplay as good as BIG is Lauryn Hill. That includes Eminem and Vibe's crowning him the best. Give me a break. I watched Kim's behind the scene on VH1 some years back and it basically covered everything from Kim's personal life to her relationship with B.I.G & her career. It's true that B.I.G started off wit Kim 1st. She loved him but I'm not sure if there was a real relationship between them. Maybe in Kim's mind depending on how she interpreted their relationship. For all we know it could've been just business mixed with pleasure. He's a man she's woman, it can happen. But from the *** it neva seem like Biggie cared too much for Kim as much as she thought he did. Yeah he put her on the map but that's how far it went IMO. However I wasn't there either so I can't really say if he cared for her or not. But based off the show, Biggie treated Kim terrible. And to this day, she still love this man but I do not understand why she hold so much loyalty toward a person who straight disrespected her on many occasions. Faith probably never loved or did the things Kim did for Biggie but he chose Faith, wifed her up and planted his seed and that messed Kim up. Biggie may have told Kim that he loved her, and he may have even meant it , “in his own little street thuggish way”. Thug love is different from real love. Plus, Kim was a round the way girl, that he could kick it with, and be himself with and so, He spent a lot of time with her. Kim likely took his abuse as love. You just made my day, He portrayed himself as that in order to reach the community, he called himself a thug , because that's how America views every black man in this society as thugs, that was his ideology behind t.h.u.g.l.i.f.e. ,The Hate U Gave Little Infants F**ks Every One, Also because he wanted to connect with the street guys, and the best way was to become 1, the same way God became human to connect with us in the best way possible,(ie. Jesus) In time you people will understand what he did for his people, he portrayed what was going on in his community to show how bad it is so it can be stopped. To tell you the honest truth I really wish he was still alive, I learned so much from this individual. He really inspired me to believe in myself, he inspired me to go back to school, he inspired me to receive knowledge, and that learning is a never ending journey. He inspired me to think outside the box and love my race when I didn't at one time, He inspired me to love unconditional, he taught me to be more observant of people actions than the words from their mouth, words really mean nothing, if your offended by a word then you make it powerful, if your not offended then the word means nothing, so the power is in you not the word....I received a spiritual connection from him....I cannot put it in words how this human being changed my life, and yes he is my Jesus Christ........What Tupac did was basically try and show people that we're all in the struggle together: the struggle to make good lives for ourselves and solve the problems that we face.
Of course some of his songs are regarding 'thug life', but a song is basically a story, and all stories have a moral at the end; not an immoral...
He tried to teach us that the way we are living is detrimental. Through his various art forms: poetry, songs, films, etc: he tried to raise awareness and give hope to disillusioned people.
Simply put he was a leader, and a great leader at that.
Tupac wanted to lead people to the truth, and he did that to a degree.

I have to be real on this one. I can relate to Kim. I was in my early twenties and dealing with someone for years. I loved him, he loved me - no doubt. I did not get along with his family and knew it wasn't going anywhere, but that did not take away from our feelings for one another. He did end up seeing someone who they approved of and yes, as trifling as it may sound, i continued to *** with him. I loved him and believed him to be mine. Let me add that I was also doing me at the time. Call me a ho if you want. Eventually I realized it wasn't ever going to be anything and as long as she knew I was around, she wasn't going anywhere. i pushed him away once i had enough. I am older and understand more now. I will never do those things today. it was a lesson to be learned. the thing that i do know is that everyone around us knew i was more than a jumpoff. he was more than my jumpoff. we had history. i don't judge kim b/c we do stupid *** when we are young. we make our mistakes. no one knew what big felt for her. kim was saying the same things when he was alive. she was in it 100 for him. faith knew him for a week or two before marrying him, possibly slept with pac and he ended up making a song dissing her. their relationship was not as deep as some of you are making it sound. too bad he's passed away now because time would have revealed where his heart was. oh as for my situation, he is still with her, i have my man and he's still trying to holla at a sistah after all this time. sad. the lessons we learn when we are young. i'm not saying kim was right, i am just saying i understand. hate if you must.

Bottom line though no matter how you look at it, the girlfriend "jumpoff" - whatever you call it is not ever going to get the respect the wife has/had.
Especially if the man passes away. That's when things become plainly obvious. Yes, in the bedroom it's one way. *** is emotional people say "I love you" all the time. But is that real love - sneaking and seeing someone on the side? To me love is an "action" - it's "sacrafice" - to me that's just "lust." Or just a stress reliever - better yet.
Kim was not married to him (she was just his side thing/fling basically) - they didn't even have any kids together.
Call it what you want. He was married to who he wanted to be with. His mother probably knew this. She probably just looked at it as Kim was his little fling, and that was her son's business, but he was truly in love with Faith and wanted the family, life and future with Faith.
Kim and Biggie probably had a bond because they were both in the rap game and knew eachother before he made it big. From what I can tell it was just a *** thing, that Lil Kim read a little bit more into it and probably wanted more) - but the facts are the facts. Faith didn't hold a gun to Biggie's head and make him marry her and say "don't marry Kim" - he chose who he wanted.
Biggie could have been with whomever he wanted to be with - kids or not he did not have to marry Faith if he didn't really love her.
I know I've been in the game from the wife's point of view. My husband saw another girl for a while - the truth came out. She felt the need to call me and tell me about it.
(Her name was Kim incidentally) - I let it go-and was able to get over it. Of course I didn't feel the need to call the girl, and become "chummy" with her - like Lil Kim claimed Faith was like with her.
But one thing I clearly understood - she wanted what I had, bottom line. She may have had a piece or part of him and thought "she was doing her" - but really she was playing herself.
Because she had to deal with the reality of the situation - which was he was never leaving me or his daughter - and he definitely didn't love her.
But just one of those things. Some people can handle and get over it - some can't. But I would never want to play seconds to anyone, regardless if I was getting satisfied sexually or money etc - because once your feelings truly get involved you are going to want to be number 1 not 2.

@ reddragon I partially agree, but a man that convinces you to keep the baby does not guarantee he loves you especially if he makes a bunch of empty promises and becomes invisible later. There are a bunch of "broken" men running around here bragging about their babies and they are not loving the mothers.
