we really ned to upgrade our standards women and get rid of that hood dream.
Make sure a guy has some potential other than in the hood. We need to stop the cycle. There are succesful blackmen but half of us just stay in the same broke down environment hoping to find better.
See beyond the street sign and dream big.
This should have been the top story although the info on these people is nothing new. But hey, when you subscribe to only King and XXL, a shock is in store.
People don't become this rich by lending people money. Next time there's a non-black woman pictured with an athlete, please don't call them gold diggers b/c 985 of youare showing your colors, lol
"Nigerian Aliko Dangote is the second richest black person, taking 334th position on Forbes’ World’s Wealthiest Billionaires List. He is also the richest African citizen."
MTO you make no sense. How does one becomes an African citizen? Did you Mean the richest Nigerian citizen. Because as far as I know Ethiopia is in Africa so that would make Mohammed Al Amoudi the richest African on the planet. Africa is a continent NOT a country. Fred you should know better cause you're African yourself.
And not one baller, singer or rapper in the list. Hmmmmmmmmm. Like I said before don't sleep on them African brothers. If all you see in the media are ballers and rappers living the good life well that's what you want to be. Now if all you see are doctors and business men living the good life where you live, well then that's what you'll want to be. In Africa that's all they have to look up to.
Looks like it's all about Africa! @ dcboi All you did was break down their Nationalities. I see seven BLACK people, no matter where they are from. -----------------------------------------
@bahamachyck lol. How did I single out nationalities? I didnt single out the Jamacian or the Nigierian. You can clearly see which two stand out. They clearly have differnt physical differences from the rest. A better title who have been richest people of African descent. Im just sayin
I knew africa had more billionaires than anyone, and yet the dumb oprah helps poor africans, while they do nothing. what a fool. --------------------------------------- Umm I would hope theyd have more. Theres over 900 million Africans and only 40 million African Americans and 2.5 million Jamacians.
This goes to show that black folks, we are better off somewhere else, ie Africa. Only two people on this list is from the states and the rest were from Africa or other places. While we're going back and forth over who's dating who and who's wearing what, these folks are getting their grind on and making millions and billions of dollars. All I have to say is stop hatin and get money my ninjas.
See us BLACK PEOPLE are capable of obtaining WEALTH (billionaire status is wealth. Millionaire/rich) WITHOUT becoming AN ENTERTAINER which includes SPORTS and MUSIC. We too can use OUR BRAINS, GET A GOOD EDUCATION, and make our presence known in the world as SERIOUS, INTELLIGENT, and civilized peoples. It can be done
BTW) AFRICANS are KILLING the AFRICAN-AMERICANS in terms of education, money, and prestige. The africans do not take their lives for mere amusement and play. At my collge campus, the majority of BLACK STUDENTS enrolled in the colleges of biological sciences and math were AFRICANS, INDIANS, AND ASIANS!!! Matter of fact, I was one of the few african americans of the science biological colleges. Africans get their hustle on when they come here.
I have three african friends one of whom is an engineer, the other a businessman who opened an african restuarant/clothing store in the hood, and the third one is a college professor. The africans don't play.
@BULLET-PROOF_LOAFErs- I agree with you. Only in America do you have black folks crying and complaining about how this country don't give them anything (not all but yall know what I'm talking about). Yet you got poor blacks that come from Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, Ghana, and Nigeria that come here with NOTHING but through hard-work, determination, and effort they manage to put themselves through school and osecure a good life here than they had back home.
MTO, I don't know if Bob Johnson was the first African American billionaire. Their is a guy name Reginald Lewis (google it) who was the first African American to own a company worth over a billion dollars and he did it before Bob Johnson. I guess it depends on what you guys classify as a 'billionaire'. If it's company wise, than Reginald Lewis is the first, NOT Bob Johnson.
@All4real- Yeah I hear that. These silly, non-influential rappers talking about all this paper they have while at the same time, outside of entertainment, they don't hold POWER nor INFLUENTIAL WEIGHT in the world. LMAO. Then we have young people looking at these jive entertainers like they got all this POWER when in reality they don't. JAY will NEVER partake in any foreign or economic worldly affairs forum. And Bey will never work as a world ambassador or serve on the WHO, UN, or UNICEF presidential foreign affairs board.
---------------------------------- @GuessJeans Actually immigrants in general tend to out do native born folks in terms of education, money, and prestige. They are out doing blacks and whites, so its misleading to pit Africans vs African Americans. Your also comparing an entire continent to a specific ethnic group. Its terms of sucess its best to compare apples to apples, not apples to oranges.
@ Dymdva- Jay might be a rich millionaire but he holds NO weight or power when it comes to worldly financial affairs. He's a rich man who will probably be rich forever but he doesn't hold any power. He can't make the world go around. Those guys working in the mining and mobile phone industries have access to initiate CHANGE in worldly affairs. With their billions and power they could probably start several businesses throughout poverty-striken countries. Jay nor any other rapper on the planet CAN NEVER hold that much weight. It isn't possible
@dcboi- I know this. I simply mentioned american blacks because some people often complain about the koreans and arabs taking over businesses in their areas. I mentioned africans as well because we as black people living here have a tendency to believe the Asians and Arabs are the only peoples who are buying up businesses in the inner cities. This simply isn't true.
FIRST OFF ALL YOU BROKE BLACK WOMEN NEED TO STOP YA"LL CAN"T DO WHAT WHITEWOMEN DO YA"LL CAN T MARRY RICH AND BESIDES RICH PEOPLE ARE JERKS I HAVE COUSIN WHO PLAYED IN THE NBA FOR 10YRS AND HES A JERK DIDNT SHARE [EXPLETIVE] NOW MY UNCLE WAS A MILLIONARE HE WAS COOL HE OFFER TO PAY FOR MY COLLEGE EDUCATION BUT THATS ANOTHER STORY MORAL OF THIS STORY IS GO YOUR BLACK ASSES TO SCHOOL STOP TRYING TO BE ENTERTAINERS AND MAYBE ONE DAY IT WILL BE ONE OF YOU PEOPLE WE READING ABOUT ( BUT I DOUBT IT!)
That cocksucker sellout Bob Johnson! He was in a position to a very uplifting thing for his own Black people but instead used it to further denigrate the race by showing those ridiculous-@ss cRAP 'music'videos 24/7/365.
Instead he could have used the network to build Black people up with programming that was educational and positive images of our race could be broadcast.
His answer was to promote Blacks being dumb and ignorant (most cRAPPERS are; look at how they behave) and our women to be hoochies and whores (they have taken gold-digging to a new low level)
He should have his balls cut off, the prick!!!!
good comment KingRamses2U, guessjeans, and dcboi. i'm going to be honest. i didn't know there were any billionaire blacks apart from oprah ever on earth. i thought the only rich black people were rappers and atheletes. see this is good information right here. mto should promote these types of stories so people like myself and other non black people who visit this site can learn something.
this is good to know. BHAHHHWWAAAAA!! those crappers ain't shi%. They scum. rapping about hoes, money, and cadillacs like they about something important. please.. lame asses. all they do is promote poison to their communities and promote filth as if it's cool to the masses. poor weak-minded youth eat that rap crap up like it's something. it isn't shi% but a bunch of rich black men making money off their fellow common black men. the Jay-Z's, Lil waynes, plies, t.i, nelly, 8ball, etc line their pockets with common folk money. now ain't that a bitch. suburban kids eat this s hit up too but at least they mommy and daddy live a half-way decent life. poor black folk don't stand a chance when they eat this garbage of a music up. it's pitiful. pac was right about the rap game. i wonder if he was killed behind all that truth he was talking about.
@bahamachyck, guessjeans, MILATANT1, KingRamses2U I totally agree with your comments.
@dcboi You had some good points as well but why do yo have to set apart Ethiopians and Arabs from (black) Africans? They're all on one continent AFRICA and I wished that Arabs, Ethiopians and especially Egyptians would stop acting like they are not from Africa. I wished that black people in general would stop discriminate against their own kind. We could be powerful people if we stay united.
MTO, PLEASE GET UR FACTS RIGHT. HERE'S WHAT fORBES HAS TO SAY.
According to the 2008 Forbes International Billionaire List, Aliko Dangote, with a net worth of $3.3 billion is the richest black person in the world, overtaking Oprah Winfrey who was listed as the only black billionaire for three straight years. Oprah is the second richest with $2.7 billion.[1] South African gold magnate, Patrice Motsepe, was also listed with a net worth of $2.4 billion. Aliko Dangote and Motsepe are the first black Africans to ever appear on the Forbes international rich list,[2] however, Mobutu, the Congolese president, and Sani Abacha, the Nigerian military leader, were probably billionaires when they were alive but Forbes could never confirm this (according to Forbes magazine's Kerry Dolan).[3]
From 2001-2003, Forbes listed Black Entertainment Television founder Bob Johnson as a billionaire[4], but dropped him after his fortune was split in his divorce from his wife Sheila. [5] He returned to Forbes international rich list in 2007 with a net worth of $1.1 billion USD. In 2008 Johnson's wealth dropped further to approximately $1.0 billion USD even.[2]
Afro-multiracial billionaires have also been identified. Forbes international richest list includes Michael Lee-Chin of Canada, who is of Chinese and Jamaican ancestry. Saudi-Arabian billionaire Mohammed Al Amoudi has black ancestry because his mother is from Ethiopia, but rich lists classify him as Arab because his father is from Yemen.[6]. Also included is Mo Ibrahim, a British billionaire of Sudanese Nubian ancestry[7]
who cares!?!?!These billion idiots dnt put there money towards black folks, they dnt even help there own people, especially white bitch...she cant put money in the ghetto, in Chicago...she doesnt help her ppl at all. Im Jamaican and I never knew that it was Jamaican Billionaire. If Ching chong looking ass is a Billionaire, why dont he help Jamaica out??? dont he see how Fuk up Jamaica is now. Its sad...and these Afican motha fukers needs to help there damn people too...but guess what they dont give a [EXPLETIVE] about none of us!So [EXPLETIVE] them... Anyways.. did y'all know that Michael Jackson is a billionaire?? Oppp!!! i forgot yall dum asses think hes broke, lol pleae..this [EXPLETIVE] just bought a manshion up in bel-air, but MTO doeant post that cuz he/she wants everybody to know hes broke...anyways...Michael Jackson is wroth more than 15 billion...but most ppl doesn tknow that.
Personally, I didn't know there were so many black billionaires in the world!!...As for the people on here berating the African billionaires...how do you know that these people have not implemented programmes to help their less-fortunate citizens???
Just b/c it's not being broadcast doesn't mean that they aren't doing anything to help the poor people in their countries... a lot of people like to be low key about that kinda stuff!!
Also, no matter how rich, one person CANNOT save a country...there is only so much you can do!!! Can they tell people not to have 10 children when they are unable to support them??
Also, look at the amount of billionaires in the U.S.: Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, etc. and there's still POVERTY, HOMELESSNESS, and other major social problems going on in the U.S.!!
At the end of the day I guess it's really easy to tell people how they should be spending their money!!...lol...
Damn. Did the whole African vs. African-American vs. West Indian debate HAVE to break out in this thread? I mean really. I see seven people of African descent who are making bank. We should ALL be happy about that. Instead, we're on some African vs. African-American vs. West Indian BS. It's divisive, sad, and stupid. Wake up people.
I was just talking to some of my guys about this the other day. God forbid if a so-called "race war" broke out because not only would "others" be fighting and killing our asses, we'd be fighting and killing each other.
If you are a daily reader of this site then it's pretty safe to say that any of those billionaires are out of your league..so gold diggers please stop and sit down!
Good for them for being smart in business. I'd like to know how much they are contributing financially and physically to America or wherever they are originally from or currently reside? If I had that much I'd definitely give back to my country and/or community.
Cutenap123 - yes, I would have thought only LEGALLY acquired wealth would count! Who cares about stealing ass scam artists and corrupt politicians?! I'm sure most if not all of these people are contributing in some way to charity/local business development etc. Just because we don't hear about it doesn't mean it isn't happening. Most people on this board had never even heard of these people so of course we're not going to hear about them giving back. America has many a billionaire but there's still poverty so don't expect these people to wipeout poverty in their home countries.
Mohammad al-amoudi was born and raised in Wollo, Ethiopia and then moved to arabia in his 20's. He has dual citizenship (ethiopian/saudi). His mother is Ethiopian and his father is from Yemen. I saw a couple of arab websites that classified him as Arab but the truth is if he was poor he would just be a n****R to them but since he is rich that "cleanses" him of his Black taint and makes him an Arab (A lot of arabs look down on Blacks if you did'nt know).
Some people try to debate if he's Black or Arab, hes both. The thing that many Americans dont get is that in African we identiify ourselves based on our country of origin (ex. Ethiopian, Nigerian, Ugandan, because most of us our Black) we dont focus on race as much as Americans because we are more homogenous. Due to our tendency of using our countries as...I dont know...our identifiers, Mohammad A-Amoudi considers himself Ethiopian (That is why he focuses most of his philanthropy in Ethiopia and not Yemen or Arabia) and if asked to clarify race by those from countries where race is a bigger issue, of Black and Arab ancestory. If a half Black half, half chinese person (#6) can be put on a list of the richest black people in the world so can he. He lives mainly in Ethiopian and employees many people there and is involved in a lot of philanthropy. Al Amoudi has focused his East African investments on Ethiopia since the mid-1980s. MIDROC Ethiopia was created in 1994. He is strongly committed to Ethiopia, especially job creation and infrastructure capacity building. He is the largest private investor in Ethiopia (More than US$1 billion) , putting money into such diverse assets as a hotel, gold mines and a food processing plant. He donated 20 million USD over a ten year period to Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative in Ethiopia. He donated millions of dollars to help a hospital get built in an under served section of the country. He has built a 140-bed health care facility and supports visual impairment, disabled, children's health and poverty alleviation programmes. In the education arena, he provides overseas scholarships and is a patron of the Ethiopian arts. He also funds one of the biggest soccer tournaments( The CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup which was renamed after him) in Africa.
For those who are interested he is married with I believe 8 children (each child can get a billion when he passes) but although he is married he is known to have girlfriends. One of those chicks is in London for college paid for by him. He does a lot of things for his country and deserves attention for it but he is definetly not perfect. I kind have mixed feeling regarding him for other reasons. A rich man in a poor country can get what he wants and can get away with anything...heck that even happens in America
Yeah it's definitely a lot of hate on here. ESPECIALLY GuessJeans ass! LoL! What about black entertainers? Let them do them why you worried about it. I'm pretty sure if you had a chance to get paid for loving what u do YOU WOULD. That goes for anybody else hating on black entertainers. We NEED black entertainers ESPECIALLY during this recession so yall can get off the EXTRA HARD HATING yall doing on this post. There are indeed a lot of successful black people who are not entertainers. And don't blame these entertainers for your kids being as [EXPLETIVE] up as they are now. Blame yourself.
#1 is arab he dont count #2 is one of them 419 "chop ya dollar" Nigerians. All his money is probably stolen by email scams. Itll all be seized by next year. #3 Oprah aight #4 he arab he dont count #5 That South African forced white Afrikkaners to surrender thier ish. He aint really earn that money. He got one big welfare check. #6 Lee-Chin is half chinese his wealth should be halved. Half That sh!t belongs to the chinese. So hes really worth like 900 million.
So the only real undisputed self-made billionaires are Oprah and Bob Johnson. :D
@dcboi
One can be both black AND arab. I went to school with a guy who was a black man who happens to be from Saudi Arabia. People get race confuse with nationality.
Interesting fact for you:
Did you know that there are 1 million Chinese citizens living in Nigeria? Their race is Asian, but their nationality is Nigerian. Get it?
That's what I'm talking about, leave your family a legacy and not your bills when you die.
I hope people noticed these people were entrepreneurs. Don't let that part get passed you. Think big, reach high. Make the impossible look easy is one of my mottos, all people can say to your ideas are yes or no. Who cares, just knock on another door until you reach the top!!
IF YOU POSTED A COMMENT IN WHICH UR BASICALLY BEGGING OR TRYING TO OFFER YOUR HAND IN MARRIAGE, YOU SUCK!
YOU SHOULD BE ASKING WHAT YOU CAN DO TO MAKE IT, NOT CAN YOU "HOLD" SOMETHING! SMDH SO HARD THAT IT'S ABOUT TO FALL OFF MY NECK!
IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED, MOST OF THE "BLACK" PEOPLE MENTIONED HERE ARE NOT BLACK AMERICANS. TOO MANY OF US HAVE OUR HANDS OUT AND WHEN WE DO GET SOMETHING, WE SPEND IT ON THINGS WE CAN'T AFFORD.
KEEP DOING THIS AND YOU'LL NEVER HAVE ANYTHING! OH, YOU'LL LOOK FLY AS HELL, BUT YOU'LL BE BROKE AS HELL!
I find it funny how Jay-Z or B name seems to come up in something that has nothing to do with them.I guess you must be doing something right when people always got you on there minds. Also how much money or how someone else is eating don't make me [EXPLETIVE]. One more thing those Africans don't do a damn thing for there own country. The Oprah's and other powerful blacks of this country who are over there building schools in Africa. And who gives a [EXPLETIVE] about UNICEF,UN, Bush invaded Iraq against both there wishes.Which means figure heads outfits, with no real clout or there just to appease simple minded people with who can;t see through all the political BS. Also no at me comments, because you don't know me.lol
I wonder what dat white trash over at stormfront.org would think about this? Whom cares. This proves that any smart person no matter what their color/nationality is can get dough if they work their asses off. I'm sure it wasn't easy, but look at what their work got them. I don't see any rappers on that list. Smart people truly do make more dough than celebs can dream of.
I get so disgusted when i hear people especially Americans talk bad about Nigeria. Dont talk about us if you havent been to Nigeria because al you do is watch TV and believe al the lies! Im a Nigerian and live in the country so let me put it straight to you. Nigeria no doubt has some corrupt people, the economy isnt developed, we have some poor people despite our oil money. But this is a country that got independence from Britain in 1960, we got our first democratic president in 1999. The democracy is stil young. The country is 48 years old and the democracy is just 10 years old. America is over a hundred years old and is stil battling with racism, stealing of wealth from other countries like Iraq, corruption as the case of the Illinois governor who tried to sel Obamas seat. So every country in this world had a past filled with corruption, theft, wars and violence. Nigerians are warm, friendly and hard working people. Dangote is a well known man in Nigeria. This is someone who borrowed 700,000 naira($6,000) from his uncle to trade in cement. Today he has the 3rd largest cement plant in the world and the second largest sugar plant in the world! So unless you want 2 help Nigeria grow i suggest you shut up and let us build our own country! www.facebook.com/chiazor okechukwu, www.nairaland.com. Nigeria 4 life! Naija boyz! Google Nigeria and stop being ignorant!
Something's not adding up MTO....
Winfrey was listed as the world’s only black billionaire in 2004, 2005 and 2006 Then later you wrote.. The Robert Johnson is the 1062nd richest person in the world and was America’s first black billionaire.
The Mississippi born entrepreneur made his fortune when he create Black Entertainment Television (BET) in 1979. He became a billionaire when he sold the company in 1999 to Viacom for $3 B
So how coud Oprah had been the ONLY one in 2004-2006?
Iconic Nigerians: Professor Wole Soyinka(Nobel Laurete), Chinwa Achebe (writer, Things Fall Apart), Aliko Dangote (Richest African citizen), Nas (American rapper), Chamillionaire (Grammy Award winning rapper), Lemar (British singer), Seal (American singer), Sade (American singer), Okonje Nweala (Vice President World Bank). The first black owned oil refinery in Texas was built by a Nigerian. Nigerians are hard working, friendly and warm. We dont have Welfare, we work 4 every penny we own and we also party hard! 'Gongo Aso' all day! We have the highest black population in the world. And if the white people dont want to help us in developing our country, then we would do it our self!
This is why black people remain poor they are always looking for hand out, someone to come and save them. You need to do things yourself your destiny is your responsibility. I'm very proud of Motsepe being that he is South african and i'm south african. He has grown his wealth beyond anyone could ever imagine. And those who say that its a hell hole in Africa its not true yes most of Africa there is wars and starvation but not everyone is living like that i'm living in South africa and i'm loving it i'd like to visit other countries as i believe it would increase my knowledge of the world but i don't want to ever completley live anywhere else but here so no not all of Africa is a hell hole.
@muffie SHUT THE [EXPLETIVE] UP STUPID TRICK!!
People like you piss me the [EXPLETIVE] off give credit where is due BITCH!!
Black americans are such haters seriously!
just be happy for them.,,
on those commercials do you ever see an AFRICAN person hosting the show or talking to the kids?
NO!
so how the [EXPLETIVE] is the money going to them... you dumb bitch

Yeah, my Nigerian friend always says her family there believes Americans are so rich and that America is so beautiful, until they come to visit. Likewise, I have a South African friend who went back home to live and is enjoying herself on the sandy beaches, etc. America ain't all it's cracked up to be and Africa is not as poor a place as Americans have believed. Yet still, there are deeply inhumane injustices that stick out in our minds. We know that it's important for Africans and African-Americans to stick together, but we each have to take care of home before we can do that successfully.
Some of you AFRICAN Americans are just stupid. you talk about America like it's yours, maybe that's why the white man has still not removed the AFRICAN from the title he gave y'all when your weak ass ancestors were shipped out as slaves to work for the white man. My ancestors were built tough and they remained to fight the whites and then gained our independence and you have the guts to say that Africa is a hell hole. We can survive without any of your assistance. I lived in Houston for 10years and quite frankly can say that living as a black man in America is waaaay worse than living in Nigeria. I am making money like hell in Nigeria because of cheap labor and the fact that we don't have white people all over the jobs and lucrative businesses because they are all too scared of fraud so they choose not to come which is why we have so many rich Nigerians (legally or illegally.). The next forbes list will have more names as Aliko dangote (#2 on the list) himself said and knows. His competitors are making just as much but forbes can't seem to get it right and state their actual worth.
We Africans are home and dealing with our issues while you guys are in another man's land and saying that my home is a hell hole...At least i'm home. where is your own home? It ain't America, i know that for sure..Lincoln actually planned to send y'all back to Africa at one point. I wish he did and you guys would have become our slaves because you could not walk a day in our shoes.
Most of them are muthafuckas who are still all of the resources from poor nations. Sudan, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Jamaica, and many other coutries have their resources ripped off by an elite few, while most of the nation lives in dire poverty. Bob Johnson never wanted to pay residuals to the comedians that performed on Comicview and other shows. Oprah one of a handful that shares the largesse, and doesn't play the good-'ol-boy game.
We Africans are home and dealing with our issues while you guys are in another man's land and saying that my home is a hell hole...At least i'm home. where is your own home? Well we came back to Africa on our own choosing and created a country by the name of Liberia. If my memory serves me correct we actually came back and enslaved you guys for a few decades. But thats neither here nor there, your rant is retarted, you do realize those enslaved African Americans are your forefathers that came from the same area you did? If I came today and kidnapped your brother it dosent negate the fact hes still related to you dummy.
This African American vs African vs West Indian bull**** is the most stupid thing. Stop hating on the success of others and looking for fault in one another.
Clara your hater a** repeatedly posed negative s**t to demean others and make yourself seem better...Guess what your not and most likely wont ever be.
For the comment above mine talking reckless about AA'S, your dead a** wrong. Just because some ignorant people on here are ignorant does not mean you should respond with such hateful bigotry.
@dcboi, if u dont know, Nas father's name is Oludara, that is a Nigerian name 4rm the yoruba tribe. Nas is a born Nigerian but he's Nationality is American because he was born there. He has even been 2 Nigeria twice. And to the rest of u stil talking bad about Africa. Im not responding 2 u because u are just to ignorant 2 argue with me. No wonder d white man keeps u in projects and ghettos, u are bad 4 his economy. African americans dont want to work, they dont go 2 school all they do is f**k, eat, kill and sell drugs. There are more educated Africans than African americans. Thats why the white man keeps controlling u. Americans are hated in other countries, if u have been 2 London, i kno u havent cos u cant afford d trip, but if by magic u do go there, ask a Briton wat they think about americans and hear the insults he wuld rain on u! Lastly, if u kno u are black living in America, i suggest u come back 2 ur motherland and work 4 ur success because by the time we develop Africa, and i see your filthy ass coming here tryin 2 reep what u didnt sow, i wuld personally feed u 2 d sharks! They saw Nigerians are scammers but americans are the ignorant and dumb people that fal 4 them, they saw we sell drugs but americans are the sick individuals that buy and use them. So the main fact is that Africans are born hustlers and u ar our BITCH! Haha! Go 2 school and stop being ignorant maybe then u wont fal 4 our scams. The African leaders are the thieves and not the people so go to their office and burn them and stop talkn bad abt d people. IGNORANT ASS VAGABONDS! (im not hating on anyone just stop saying what u heard and find out the truth 4 urself, alrite my brothers?) one love my black people pls get educated and stop being d white mans toy..Nigeria 4 life, Jozi 4 life, Mandela respect!
GREAT NEWS! THIS IS WHAT MTO SHOULD BE DOING MORE OF.
Lets put this into perspective we are only talking about 7 people out of 1000 people. We still have a long way to go!!
1/ Wealthy people who give money do not need to shout about or name a charity organisation after themselves to massage their own egos. Most celebrities by their nature want to be noticed and love the fame, so set up charities in their own name, which costs more money than giving that money to an already existing charity. Although more could be done by the billionaires right down to those NBA ballers to help all 'black people' over he world.
2/ Ethopians are black people! If you studied African American and Ethoians DNA you would probably find them to be more 'black' than most African Americans! One drop rule suited whites in slave countries during slavery, but since the end of savery they have been practicing DIVIDE AND RULE! WAKE UP PEOPLE PLEASE!
3/ Just because a nigerian is rich it does not mean they are a fraudster 419, stupid asses!
4/ There are may more black billionaires who's wealth cannot be confirmed,in some cases due to fraud. Clara africans do not steal jobs from Afcan Americans if more African Americans were qualified they would get the jobs, honey.
The media will always premote blacks entertaining by focusing on black 'singers, dancer, footballers, basketball players, rappers' because this is 'small time money' to white people and we can never pull ourselves out from poverty and ignorance with small time money. For the most part our 'entertainer role models' have nothing to say or perpetrate ignorance. We need better role models, so we can strive to be educated billionaires and millionaires.
