: MediaTakeOut.com has been telling you for weeks about the numerous scndals around Baltimore mayor Sheila Dixon. Well on Tuesday, it appears that the lady fnally lashed out against the press.
According to Baltimore’s Daily Record, Ms Dixon stuck her middle finger at cameramen. Here’s how Baltimore’s WJZ is reporting things:
A picture from the event snapped by The Daily Record has generated lots of buzz. In it, the mayor appears to be giving the middle finger to journalists.LMAO at her just adjusting her glasses … YEAH RIGHT!!!On Wednesday, Dixon told reporters this was a "low blow" and she's "disappointed." Her spokesman says she was adjusting her glasses.
It's been a tough four days for Dixon since the indictment. She has denied any wrongdoing in the state prosecutor's corruption probe. The prosecutor says Dixon stole gift cards meant for the needy and never reported gifts from developer Ron Lipscomb, a man she was dating at the time, and whose projects received tax breaks from the city.
Im from Bmore. this is just a witch hunt. Dixon is the first female mayor of baltimore, not to mention a black female. They been gunning for her from day one. Most of the city is supporting her. I think she'll beat the charges. And though the media deserves to get the finger...she really was just adjusting her glasses.
Im from Bmore and I love Sheila. As the gentleman above me said- this is a witch hunt. The Chief of Police and O'Malley's team have had it out for her for years. I hope she wasn't adjusting her glasses. She needs to give the press the middle finger-they deserve it.
Nobody focuses on how crime has gone down, and education has gotten a little better (and I emphasize "little") in BCPS since she became mayor. For the most part, Sheila is doing exactly what she said she would do during her campaign. I met her, I like her, she's serious, she has a REAL life, and yes-she is from "the hood." Which is the BEST possible case because that is precisely why she is able to understand the majority of her constituents plight.
Keep it real- not since Mayor Kurt Schmoke have we seen a mayor hit the streets as much as Sheila does. How many times during O'Malley's tenure did he actually get out there deep in the hood and see for HIMSELF the *** that goes on there?.....(I'll wait while ya'll count the ZERO times he did that.)
Sheila had a boyfriend, so the fcuk what? He took her on trips and gave her expensive gifts. I call that pimping, and the majority of these other politicians are just hating. Did anyone ever stop to think that her boyfriend was ACTUALLY well-qualified for those contracts and got them righteously??? NOPE! At least she helping the BLACKS in Bmore come up instead of filtering all the money to those over-wealthy white contractors who only develop establishments so expensive that it forces most of ya'll *** out the city and to Section 8 living in parts of the overpriced county.
Sheila was in the streets, on the sidewalk, honest about her personality and thoughts, and "touchable" and so far, thats her biggest mistake.
Get off her ***! But just in case she WAS adjusting her glasses- here's my middle finger in replace of hers....

Why isn't anyone talking about the politicians who have been stealling for years I can go back to the 60's . The Philadelphia gas works officials were taking trips abroad and all kind of foulisness with my *** monthly payment . We can always put our own down and make excuses for the real criminals .

Bmore can't be AS raggedy as Michigan. From what I've seen when their ex Mayor O'Malley has done before their current Mayor Dixon, its a BIG change even for Baltimoreans or Marylanders period. You can't fix everything at once ..you have to step baby steps and it'll get done; not as fast they want you too but it'll get done. Descent and in order ..

P.S. As someone said, politicians/hedgefund managers are stealing millions and millions everyday yet they are on this witch hunt for a mayor who supposedly took "hundreds" of dollars in gift cards. Hundreds? I know boosters who steal more than that.
