: Yesterday MediaTakeOut.com reported to you that R&B singer Monica’s fiancé Rodney “Rocko” Hill plead NO CONTEST to charges that he assaulted a woman.
Well the crack team of reporters over at MediaTakeOut.com did some digging into what popped off that night – and discovered some SHOCKING new information.
According to a snitch who was in the club that night, the woman who was assaulted was asked to leave the VIP area because it was overcrowded. The snitch told MediaTakeOut.com, “She didn’t want to leave and so security threw her out … some 300 lb dude flung her around like she was a ragdoll.”
But instead of blaming the club’s security, she blamed Monica’s finace. The insider continued, “She even tried to sue [Monica and Rocko]. But since she didn’t have any evidence, the lawsuit ended up going nowhere … Once the lawsuit was over, she lost interest in the whole thing … she wasn’t even pressing charges anymore.”
Yet despite the lack of evidence, the Georgia prosecutors went after Rocko for the assault.
And MediaTakeOut.com spoke to R&B singer Monica about the entire ordeal. And while she didn’t want to comment on the specifics of the case, she told MediaTakeOut.com, that Rocko DID NOT assault anyone.
Monica explained, “[Rocko] was prepared to fight this all the way to trial. But at the advice of his attorney Dwight Thomas (aka - the lawyer who got T.I. that GREAT plea deal) he decided that it would be best to plead no contest and put the whole thing behind us.”
But that wasn’t it - Monica added, “I also wanted to thank my fans for all their concern. But please let them know that I have a very loving relationship with Rocko and he is ABSOLUTELY NOT a violent man towards me or any other woman.”
Well there you have it …

No one's perfect. They probably have fights whatever it does happen in relationships. Let hope she defends herself. On the other note with the fan, well she was a ''hangers on'' no reason to be there but to be seen. Now this makes absolutely no sense. How do you have court case with no plaintiff?! If the victim dropped the charges, the prosecutors cannot go after him if there is no one to testify. This is the same reason R. Kelly’s case was thrown out.

Exactly! It's hard for me to believe a prosecutor could make a person plead guilty with no evidence or no victin to testify. His amendment is being broken and he don't even know it or maybe he really was involved. This story don't even sound right but then again, this is mediatakeout LOL
I don't know bout this one Moni girl. No contest pleas... always leaves tongues a waggin'. True Innocence deserves and is worth a real fight, especially when it comes to violence against women. In some states once a complaint is made there is no dropping the case,it still moves forward without the plaintiff. The DA just has to find credible witnesses. You know a lot of folks will claim they saw some ish go down just to be in the spotlight, or to be able to extort money from a celeb.Also, Rocko may have had an arrest record that could come back in to play if convicted of a felony, so he did the right thing by plea bargaining. This incident can probably be removed from his record after his parole is over.

I dont believe he hit her, but he may did hit her. Monica has talked about this situation before. The girl came up to her dude and took his shades off and crumbled it up in his face, after she was asked to leave the V.I.P section of the club, so its safe to say the girl was mad. Also, security was escorting a lot of people out of the club around the same time, including the young lady. Monica said that she was in the restroom when all this took place. She also said that she has been with "Rock" for 8 years and that she has never been hit and she said herself, she pops off at the mouth at him and he has never hit her before. It is a possible, that when security was leading all those people out, somebody from his camp could have hit her or just a angry person that was escorted out. The club could have been very dark and she could have mistaken who hit her. I dont think it was him, but you never know.
