Here’s an excerpt of the report: Murphy has been ordered to pay [$52,000] a month until the 22-month-old girl reaches 18 - a total of about [$10.5 million.]
He has also finally agreed to see Angel Iris, who he originally questioned was his until the results of DNA testing proved he was the father….
Murphy, 47, and Mel B, 33, have spent 15 months battling in the Los Angeles law courts and have signed non-disclosure contracts, preventing them from discussing the settlement in public.
But a friend of the singer told the News of the World: 'Mel is delighted that the case is over as she just wanted what was right for the girl. 'It was never about the money - it was Mel's way of asking Eddie to show consideration for Angel.' Make him pay girl ...

If it wasn't about the money, it would have never entered the court room. A judge can't make a man be a father. Visitation rights can't substitute for fatherhood. So, are you telling me that 8 hours supervised visitation a week will make a significant difference in that child's life?!.
If she really wanted this man to be a father to this child, she would have never undergo surgery to have her tubes untied, 3 months into a casual relationship with a man she barely new.
If she wanted a father for her child, she would have insisted that he wears a condom, or abstained from any sexual relationships until certain there was more to this relationship than ***.
If she wanted a father for her child, you don't appeal to the courts...after all, the court can't make a man be father.

I don´t condone how Eddie reacted as a result of his very *** relationship with Mel but let´s face it Mel was going broke...the baby Daddy of her 1st daughter was a backup dancer for the Spice Girls and I guess he was not really taking care of his responsibilities and if I remember correctly she was putting him on blast about it too. Regardless of whether or not he plans to visit and be a "daddy", Mel should not have to shoulder the burden of financially providing for their child alone, and not only should she not have to pay for the child herself, but Mel's daughter deserves the same quality of life and luxury that all of his other children are accustomed. Anything else would be unfair. From what I understand, Mel used the courts to compel Eddie to pay his share as a last recourse. Eddie went months without even acknowledging that the child was his, even after the DNA test. If Eddie doesn't want to pay for extra children, then he should lessen the risk of impregnating women by utilizing safer *** practices or eliminate the risk entirely by abstaining from *** all together. Until then, Eddie, don't forget to sign the checks!
