this girl is grown as all outdoors how is it that just because she's ashanti's manager she feel she can control this girl's love life. Ashanti is practically in love with Nelly and he probably feels the same. Her mother don't seem to have a life of her own so maybe she don't want ashanti to have one. She's not all that attractive to me anyway and I never really cared for this woman, but she's a sweetheart though. I think if she wants to really be a big inspiration to ashanti she need to fall back and let ashanti be the grown woman that she is and experience falling in love. As for Nelly, I don't care how much money he has I wouldn't want my daughter to marry him either. He's unstable, doesn't seem to commit and how many children does he have? Some people can overcome the issues with their childhood but Nelly doesn't appear he has or he'd be committed to one of the mothers of his children.

@whateveruwant2say, shanni's mom been using her from the gate, i really think her moms is trying to live her life through her. whatever happened to shanni's pops? dude disappeared. just like New York's pops did. moms was lovin' the limelight and she was rude to everybody like she the one doin' the singin' and i even think she was gettin' down with Irv on the sly. true story when my girl met them at O'hare airport, she said Ashanti was very sweet in person, but her moms was blowin' people off, and was rude as hell. that don't sound like a mother knowin' best to me, it sounds like a jealous stagemom tryin' to ride her *** 'til the wheels fall off.
One of the reasons the divorce rate is so *** high here in the states is because of the rebellious spirit that resides in so many. I am not saying anyone is always a 100% right, but most of the time parents can see in someone what "love" blinds you to. I trust my parents judgement enough because they are rational people to the extent which if I were to get married and they thought "something aint right," I will not get married. So many people so stuck on proving people "wrong" and "doing what they want to do" that it oftentimes comes at a great expense later on. But you don't need binoculars to see this one. I guarantee no matter if she got the "good good" he is cheating on her. Women throw themselves at him constantly and I doubt he has the willpower to always turn them down and some of these chicks are real ridiculous with it. All the best. What is to be will be.

And Ashanti herself, has said...'Not yet', in regards to her getting married. Ashanti herself, has said that her true goal in life is to get married and have a bunch of babies.....I think that NELLY is the one who is not ready to commit....and mama Tina, and most importantly, Ashanti, realize this.
