: The recession is WORLDWIDE y’all …. And the wolves are out in England too. MediaTakeOut.com learned that last week during rapper Coolio’s performance at Staffordshire University's Students' Union on Wednesday (25Feb09) night, the wolves went on the attack.
According to reports in the British press, Coolio attempted to jump into the crowd and “mosh” with the students. But that was a big mistake. One witness to the event, Barman James Fielden, explains, "[Coolio] nearly flattened one poor girl. Then all the students decided to launch on him. They grabbed whatever they could, including his trainers, watch, chains and glasses. He was pulled back on stage by the bouncers."
And the goons were efficient. MediaTakeOut.com learned that in just a few seconds, they managed to steal Coolio’s bandana, jewelry and shoes before the star was rescued by the venue's security team.
