Everybody makes mistakes @ sumin_tasay. But it is evidence of growth when you don't stay in the same position continually fu(king other people men. Besides there are 3 sides to every story and we have yet to hear the truth. Alicia looks good. And she's aspiring to be more by emulating a good role model. Michelle's inspiring young ladies to be classy; secure and confident in their blackness.
Michelle Obama is a woman to aspire to be like. but as pretty and nice as the pic is Alicia nor the girls look nothing like the first lady and daughters so....what are they really trying to say here that this is what should be in the white house? why not have Gabby or someone do this pic that's at least the same color or resemble the first lady?

Yeah everyone is entitled to their own opinion and these comments are just that everyones' own opinion. BUT LORD HAVE MERCY just reading these make me sick and overall DANM *** DAMN. They have Lindsay Lohan dressed like Madonna from her "Like A Virgin" days, they have Haden Panetier (sp?) dressed as Emilia Earnhardt (sp?), and some other chick dressed as the girl from *** & The City.
Alicia looks up to Michelle and wanted to do the picture. Even though Alicia is mixed, she is still black. I'm tired of the self discrimination on black folks by our own black people. Bi-raical people have always been apart of the black commuinity. If many Blacks in America would trace their roots, which many of us dont know much about, you will find that many of you have plenty of biracial people in your ancestry. A lot of brown skinned, light brown skinned & ligher skinned blacks are not that genectically different from Alicia Keys, we got one dropped by our black blood, which made a lot of us think we are straigh black when we are not! Tyra Banks played her too in another magazine, and I think she looks mixed in a lot of ways, even though her parents are brown skinned. What if Beyonce played Michelle Obama? She obviously have a lot of mixed blood in her family tree. To me, I accept mixed people as black if they identify that way, we are the only people who have really embraced them, and that is also partially why some of us have so many different complexions and physical characteristics in our ethnic group, many mixed people know that and except themselves as black. And regardless of what Michelle look like, she is not full black likely.

Before folks start talking about this "Bi-racial" topic please first realize that there's never been a positive collective interaction with "bi-racial" people and the people of color they’re descended from...why, cause the "inter-mixing" is always the result of a European conquest and the "Bi-racial" people produced usually where used to institute and govern a Cast System in which they participated in the oppression of their mother's (now father's) people. "Bi-racial" people (like the President) who indentify as Black (or Asian, Latino, etc.) do so sometimes to willfully break with this oppressive tradition.
