Now I do not worship Obama but yes, I did vote for him..Seeing as that he has only been in the White House for a few months it is amazing how many people are already hoping, praying for his downfall and for what? What good is it gonna do for you living in America for him to fail? ..Can´t some people see that Bush is the one that got us in the mess that we´re in now to begin with? Now I know that you, that he knows (King Bush) the truth. What is it going to take before we realize we’re being lied to? How many more innocent civilians in Iraq need to die before we stand up as a whole (republicans, democrats, libertarians and independents) and act as if we care about the future of mankind?

The news described Iraq that was in need of surge for justice and equality, but the CNN report I watched last *** showed me a country in a larger state of chaos now, more than it was 5 years ago.
For the last 3 years I‘ve made a point to seek news from more than just media giants (CBS, FOX, ABC, CNN and NBC) and on my search I discovered 94.1 KPFA. 94.1 KPFA is stationed in Berkeley and stands against the corporate, propaganda riddled one sided news that we are bombarded with the all day. The Iraqi war has currently costs U.S taxpayers over 500 trillion dollars and no one can dispute that fact, although I’m sure many will attempt to do so. One gruesome fact that our trusted corporate fail to mention is how many billions construction companies such as Halliburton, are generating by rebuilding the same land they are destroying.
All the previous points that I’ve established lead me to the conclusion, that previously, I didn’t trust the president’s word .I can’t trust any corporation that benefits him vice versa. Read the book, “Confessions of a Economic Hitman” by John Perkins to gain a clear sense of how highly paid professionals swindle countries out of trillions of dollars as well has natural resources. In 1951 when Iran rebelled against a British oil company in which Iranian prime minister Mohammad Mossadegh nationalized all petroleum assets .This act of rebellion enraged England (due to loss of profits) who sought help from their ally the U.S.A but since both countries (England and U.S.A) dreaded a military approach would incite the Soviet Union to join Iran, a more incognito solution was derived. In steps Kermit Roosevelt (Theodore’s grandson) a C.I.A agent employed to overthrow the democratically elected Mossadegh, by any means. Kermit was successful, his tactics included pay offs, threats, street riots and violent demonstrations, in which Mossadegh spent the rest of his days on house arrest, while the pro American Mohhamed Reeza Shah became the undisputed president. Was this information printed in a news paper while it was taking? On the bright side Barak Obama’s election has turned over a new leaf. In a matter of his first month in office, President Obama’s as already made progress in patching a damaged foreign policy i.e. the closing of Gitmo. Another indication that President Obama has the future in mind is, the multi billion federal stimulus package. President Obama is also aware of the perilous condition of the environment, but as oppose to ignoring the problem he has chosen California to lead the nation in new emissions regulation .President Obama is a voice for the working class who in the last eight years have become the “forgotten ones”. President Obama’s humble beginnings enable him to feel the pain and the frustration of not being able to afford all of life’s necessities in which, keeps him in tuned with the needs of the majority of not only the U.S. but the World has well. With President Obama in office a change for the better is finally here.
