Following in Eminem’s footsteps, 50 Cent will be releasing two albums in 2009.

The rapper made the announcement to MTV News today (March 16) saying he will release his eagerly awaited Before I Self Destruct album in June after Eminem drops Relapse on May 19th

Eminem is expected to drop Relapse II in the second half of 2009 and 50 Cent will follow that release with another album.

A video for Eminem’s latest single, “Crack A Bottle”, which features 50 Cent and Dr. Dre, is expected to hit music video outlets soon.

In related news, 50 Cent will be joining rock group Fall Out Boy for five dates on their upcoming tour which launches next month. Check the group’s website for their itinerary.
