: It appears that Beyonce’s father Mathew Knowles has lost another artist. MediaTakeOut.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that R&B singer Lyfe Jennings has officially fired Mathew – and hired Manny Hailey (Keyshia Cole’s manager) as his new rep.
The official word is that Lyfe and Mathew parted ways on favorable terms. But a MediaTakeOut.com snitch tells us otherwise. According to the insider, “For the first time [Lyfe] has found a manager that truly understands him … [Mathew] Knowles’ had “someone else’s' career as a top priority.”
Dang Mathew … you lost Lyfe and Kelly and word is that Michelle is on her way out too. That stable’s getting awfully thin ….
I mean Mr.Knowles has his heights on Beyonce she is his real moneymaker..he doesnt know how to juggle other people careers and doesnt need to be multiple peoples manager..he needs to stick to Bey..He is goin about it wrong..his priorities are his daughters and his grandson..those are the careers he truly believes in and he give theirs his all thats why they are successfull.you would do the same for your fam..however he needs to stop wastingthose other artist time..

Honestly, I think someone already called it. He's so focused on Bey's career that everyone else comes dead last. I feel sorry for Bey, though. This has got the makings of some Joe Jackson type stuff. He's made his manager career off of Beyonce. Her mother's fashion designer career is off of Beyonce. Her sister made her name semi famous off of Beyonce. Jay-Z is more accepted in the main stream media because of Beyonce. On their own, no one would really care about Matthew, Tina or Solange without Beyonce's fame. But that's what family is all about at the end of the day. And I strongly believe in family loyalty above all else. I would have done the same.

That's prob why Lyfe snapped and did all of that mess a few months ago. I think Matthew would make the most sane person snap. He is doesn't pay anyone attention unless they are his oldest daughter. A lot of these 20 something year olds have no idea. R&B was not meant to be a baby making guide hell grow up and talk about soemthin else. i've always suspected that lyfe was an intelligent brotha,but now i'm sure of it. this is the wisest decision he could make with reguards to his career. he was never gonna get anywhere with papa knowles as manager. all he cares about is HIS DAUGHTER...not daughterS ....but DAUGHTER....THAT'S SINGULAR.(y'all know he dont give a *** about solange). i'm glad to see this brother drop that fool. smart move,lyfe.
Well I don't know who the hell they lyfe but If he think his career was mess up because of matthew and he could do better with manny, he must be stupid. People could say what they want about matthew but its not his fault this artist sucks. They could move from management to managements and they still will flop.
People should really stop blaming bey for other artist under his management. Yes matthew have a great impact on bey career but bey is a WW *** today because of her working her *** off and not just matthew being her manager. Smart move Lyfe and his album may not have went platinum but he is smart when it comes to making his money. Check his album credits. Even if he doesn't sell a million, he's not paying a bunch of producers and writers. Ol boy is basically only paying for studio time. Therefore, he's keeping more of his profits and probably has more money than a platinum artist that makes a few cents per album sell.

You'd have to be desperate to hire Matthew Knowles or Diddy to take your career under their wings. He knew good and well Beyonce is Matthew's top priority POINT BLANK. If you read the fine print on the contract it says "there is no guarantee that your career will take off because I have to make sure my baby girl is taken care of" and no he aint talking about you Solange so maybe you need to fire him as well.
I love Lyfe Jennings. I brought his cd and I went to his show when he came to town. He givesone hell of a show! He doesn't just sit on that stool and he doesnt just walk back and forth on stage. He was all over the place, he switched it up and he had ladies come on stage. I absolutely loved it! I know he has some legal problems that he can prayerfully overcome. I am not sure but we will have to see. He is one of my favorite artists. He is a real R&B artist and if this is true I believe that Manny will do all that he can to ensure the best situation for Lyfe. Matthew is money and power hungry. He should only manage his children because that is all that he truly cares about. Parents are always going to do the best for their kids.
Here are the facts. Lyfe wrote a few songs and tried to get his input on pitch and proposal from Mr.Knowles whose only interest was have the songs rewritten from a woman's angle for one of his other artist to record. Was the artist Beyonce? Maybe maybe not, could had even been Solange or Kelly but Lyfe didnt understand why every song he wrote for his self had to be re written for a female. He didnt want to ghost write he wanted to work on his own career, so thats that.
