I don't exactly know the full extent of their relationship. I don't know if it's abusive or not. If they separate and get help for themselves, I will support them. However, if the relationship is/was an abusive one and they remain together, then the hell with them both.

The kids in todays society are sketchy. It's nothing for them to hear about a teenage girl getting hit by a boy. The parents aren't teaching their sons not to hit girls. I taught middle school and it was nothing to hear about a boy trying to fight a girl.

The replayed Oprah's domestic violence show on this matter today, and it was really good, Each of the guys were former abuser who said that they didn't care if the woman said something crazy, spit on him, hit him or whatever, they had the power to restrain her and there was no reason, whatsoever, a man should hit a woman.
Michael Baisden do a show on Tuesday where he took calls from teenage girls he told, in detail, how they were abused by their boyfriends at 16 and 17 years old. One 17 year old said that on different instances her boyfriend slap her, the close *** punched in the face and then choked her with a golf club before she finally left him. They all said that they hid it from their dads because they didn't want their dad to her the boy and go to jail. It was crazy. One thing that Michael and George said was that they should've let their dads slap the boy so he would know how it felt to be hit by a man. Their daughters are 17 & 18 as well, so they had strong feelings about this situation.
I talked to my niece about the situation and told her that she better not accept any bad treatment from no boy. These little boys are out of control. Their fathers need to man up and their mothers need to woman up and teach them how to treat a lady.

Actually, I disagree with you mkef. If he wasn't a celebrity, he wouldn't be in jail, nor would domestic violence become such a popularly discussed topic- as we all know it hasn't been being discussed over many years. Sorry to break it to you, but most abusers don't get much jail time.
