: Today is the day. MediaTakeOut.com was the FIRST news source in the world to tell you that rapper Clifford “TI” Harris was arrested, and the first news source to tell you that he’d be accepting a plea.
Now today is time to pay the piper. TI will be sentenced today and he’s expected to do a little less than a year in prison. Here’s how the Atlanta-Journal Constitution is putting it:
According to the plea agreement, T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., will be sentenced to one year and a day.See ya in the winter homie!!The extra day means T.I. can carve 15 percent off of his sentence with good behavior. Under U.S. Bureau of Prison rules, inmates can earn such credit only if they are sentenced to longer than a year in prison.
T.I. should serve an estimated 298 days — or a little less than 10 months. He is expected to get credit for the two weeks he sat in jail after his arrest and before posting a $3 million bond.
EDITOR'S UPDATE - TI was NOT put in prison today - he's expected to begin serving his time in May.
Awww, I just love TI, I remember when he dropped his first cd, he performed at the club I was bartending at in Athens Ga, he was cool, no body guards, walking thru the crowd taking pics...he was humble...I love his music...Im sure my girl Tiny can hold the fort down while he's gone. T.I.'s lawyer Steve Sadow is the bomb and he might keep him from going to jail, if he does go it will be a low security prison.

Well if it's true that he's only serving a year or maybe less, I say that's sheer LUCK! Not a blessing, but LUCK. I say luck because for those of us who are NOT famous with millions of dollars, our *** would be locked under the jail for years. They hype up this mess like he was gonna be locked up for 15 years, yadda, yadda, yadda, but we all knew from the time he was arrested that he would either get off all together or get off lightly. It never fails with these celebrities.

TINY I watched T.I.'s MTV special twice last ***, the 2nd time because it was just something about the different tones in his voice when he was describing his life. To me it was almost like watching a *** of a person who is now no longer with us. TINY if you read this, Please Please Please talk to T.I. and get him to change his stance on being in population instead of isolation. I just feel in my heart if he doesnt, he will never make it out. It was just a wierd feeling that I got while watching him on tv. Tell T.I. to go into isolation and take that time and write songs or if nothing else just use that time for downtime. Everyone knows that inmates in prison for killing have no remorse and the others out of just pure hatred, jealousy, or for a pat on the back in their world wouldnt think twice about going after him. Tell him to live in that cell by myself for his time and walk out like he walked in rather than being mixed with population end up being carried out. Well I am pretty sure his 'situation' will stick by him. When on the Chelsea Lately show, Chelsea questioned him about this 'situation' and she said you mean girlfriend and TI says...'situation' and then he said his kids were another 'situation'.

I love me some TI...I'm so proud of the fact that he went back into the community and tried to help vulnerable youths...that's a good look...real talk...and I hope that after all this is over he will continue to try and help them...Tiny has been so supportive during all this...TI even though I think you're hella fine...it's time for you wife up Tiny...on some serious get right...she stood by you thru all of this...God gave you a second chance...recognize...do "right" by people...and with that... "right", will continue to come to you thru many blessings...get it legal and marry her before you go to jail...even if you have to do justice of the peace, you can plan the wedding later...I only support artist (buy their CD's) who show they are using good common sense...and at this stage marrying Tiny would show that you are using good common sense...and know what time it really is...wishing you the best...
I don't know what the *** some of ya'll are talking about,he is gonna be straight in there!!!! I know alot of people who have been to prison and say they lived almost as good as they did out here.Sure you would rather be out here but if you got the funds that is like a *** summer camp.
