: Last weekend Rapper Pharrell was performing in front of thousands of college students (many of whom are MediaTakeOut.com readers) at Emory University. The stadium was crowded and many students were forced too close to the stage.
That’s when Pharell interrupted his performance – and instead of asking fans to step back from the stage – he berated the teenage fans with curses.
Ain’t that some ish!!! These college students spent their hard earned money (during a recession, mind you) to see Skateboard P … and look how dude treats them. Never knew he was such A LAME …

He was NEVER that rude to any of the concerts I've been to with N.E.R.D. He wasn't even rude the 3 times I've met him. He kindly took a picture beside me, signed my cd's, and even let me hang out backstage for about 15 without a pass!! But this is rude... I Can't believe he would talk to his friends like that.
But I do know he cusses up a storm at EVERY show. Maybe he was a little too hype, lol.

I attend Emory University here in Atlanta...we did NOT pay anything to see N.E.R.D. Emory gives us free concerts every year. We've had John Legend, Neyo, Common, etc...and they were really goin crazy in the front..they were pushing on the stage and everything...MADNESS..lol..but yea..the concert was cool...JD and some of the Oceans were there..LIVING THE LIFE!!!
OK JUST TO CLEAR THIS MATTER UP, I WAS THERE. I GO TO EMORY, I WAS IN THE FRONT ROW. LIKE SOMEONE MENTIONED BEFORE WE DID NOT PAY FOR THIS CONCERT. AND THIS VIDEO IS NOT HOW IT SEEMED. PHARRELL WAS TRYING TO GET THE SECURITY GUARDS TO REMOVE THE BARRICADES SO WE COULD MOVE UP CLOSER TO THE STAGE AND ENJOY THE SHOW MORE. HE WAS NOT YELLING AT THE ENTIRE CROWD, JUST SOME IDIOT THAT DIDN'T EVEN GO TO EMORY THAT JUST STOOD THERE AND WOULDN'T MOVE BACK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. CURSING WAS A STRETCH BUT HE WAS TRYING TO MAKE SURE WE ENJOYED THE SHOW... AND THAT WE DID! THANKS PHARRELL.
PHARRELL CAN BE A BIT UNPREDICATABLE AND ANNOYING WHEN HE COMES TO THE UK AS HIMSELF HE IS FINE ,BUT FOR SOME REASON WHEN HE COMES WITH N.E.R.D THEY HAVE MADE A PACT NOT TO SPEAK TO ANYONE DURING INTERVIEWS SO JUST SIT THERE LIKE LEMONS,ACCORDING TO PHARRELL IT SO EVERYONE GET'S AN EQUAL PLATFORM WHICH IS DUMB ANSWER QUESTIONS INDIVIDUALLY THEN BUT TO SAY NOTHING AT ALL IS A BIT LAME
Sh*t do be getting out of hand at concerts people rush the stage like they crazy I been to a couple concerts Lil Waynes was the craziest though I'm glad I'm no lil b*tch boy cause I be throwing bows at b*tches the concerts in the hood be the best though them are the ones that be crunk as hell have your girl sneak some blunts in there turn the club into a smoke out
never really liked this lame anyway except for when he first came out and no one really knew who he was i thought he was cute then. [EXPLETIVE] i dont go to concerts, im not paying my hard earned money to ppl who dont appreciate. i got to really be feeling the person to pay to see them like micheal jackson other then that i aint paying to see no kanye or what have you. ill just see them on tv, if that.
I go to school in Atlanta and attended that concert. First of all the concert was free and all Emory students were allowed to bring one friend[ someone who did not attend Emory] for free. Since so many people brought a friend or more, it was crowded and the crowd was becoming a bit rowdy. There was a lot of pushing and shoving which led to Pharrell doing what he had to do. To be honest, no one really cared and some saw it as doing what you had to do in order to make sure the people at the concert were safe. Trust me, Public Safety which is what most schools have as security does not really have much authority when it comes to students and certain events. Plus it's college.....MTO is really make it more than what it needs to be.
This is why the the Caribbean festival in DC and NY is so fuqqed up because the dumb ass niqqahs will not get out of the street so the floats can get by. This past year as soon as the cops got the people out of the way, the dumb fucqs would get back in the street and block the floats. Is they cancel the sh!t you will say that it is racist. Learn how to act.
Did yall ever think that maybe he was trying to get control before someone got hurt? That's only a piece of the footage, maybe someone was getting crushed up front and he wanted everyone to back up. If it was one of yall relaties getting crushed then ya ass would be trying to find a lawyer to sue him. He had every right to talk like that if folks were not backing up!!!
