: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that the recession may be hitting Prodigy of Mobb Deep. According to a lawsuit filed against his former label, Prodigy is claiming that his family is in foreclosure.
Here’s how the NY Post is reporting things:
A Queens-bred rapper is suing a Manhattan music company from behind bars for allegedly failing to pay him more than $30,000 and plunging his family into foreclosure….Wasn’t he the dude talking about how his chain cost $100,000. Wow … how things change…"These breaches . . . have put Prodigy's family in financial peril," say documents filed last Monday in Manhattan Supreme Court.
