: MediaTakeOut.com just got some disturbing news. Yesterday, Kerby Revelus, a 23 year old man from Boston, killed two of his sisters (age 17 and 5) at a birthday party and stabbed a third (age 9) with a knife.
Here’s how it all went down. Kerby had been involved in a fight with a man who lived next door about a day before the attack on his sisters. Somehow, that fight disturbed him so much that he went on a killing spree – during his baby sister’s birthday party.
MediaTakeOut.com learned that first Kerby stabbed his 17-year-old sister Samantha to death with a household knife. Nine-year-old Sarafina witnessed her sister’s murder and called the police - who arrived in less than a minute.
When the police broke into the house, they witnessed Kerby decapitating his five-year-old sister Bianca, whose birthday cake was on the kitchen table. When the madman tried to turn the knife on Sarafina, police shot and killed him.
Luckily, MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Sarafina survived, she was taken to the hospital with defensive wounds to her hands and stab wounds in her stomach and one of her legs. She’s expected to make a full recovery.

How is it that if the people commenting have not seen this on national news. The man cannot be locked up because the police *** and killed him, and the parents were at work. He was 23,and the oldest sister in the house was 17, 9,and 5 one more older sister was not there. This family is going through a lot the person that committed this crime was their son and was also killed with no choice from the police. Yes this is very tragic they still loved their brother and probably wouldn't like the comments being made. We need to think before we speak in situations like that what if it was you.
Well this happened in the town next to mine so its just freightening how close to home it is. Now it's unfortunate that they are now saying that he was really upset and depressed that due to his criminal record he wasn't able to find a job. My question is, why is it that this is a constant excuse. I mean for real, why do other people have to suffer for YOUR decisions in life. those two girls didn't deny you a job they hadn't even fully begun to live life. These are NOT real men that kill other people because THEIR life isn't going right as a result of THEIR actions. I live one town over and this has devestated soo many. The parents weren't home. They stepped out but they lived in a two family home where the grandmother resides on the first floor. The grandmother was home the entire time but was in the basement doing laundry and didnt know what happened until the police *** the son to death. He wont be seeing prison time because the police *** him up. Very sad but justice was served....

probably was a longstanding period of family problems, the guy just didnt decide to kill his sisters, maybe he was not working and the parents or whoever wanted him to leave and he didnt had anywhere to go, and all this pressure with him getting in a fight, and the sisters threatening to tell and he just snapped. Many families nowadays put too much pressure on the youth to get out the house and get a job while the young person cant see a way out of their troubles.

WOW... i got three sisters myself, thats horrible. They looked to him for protection and he goes does sumthin like that, killin two young beautiful girls and injuring the other physically/mentally possibly for life....SMH. One of the few times where i believe he shoud have just killed himself first.

I saw this on the news this morning, and what *** me off more than anything was the fact that the news showed the mother getting home and finding out the news and falling out in the street screaming. WTF? If that were a white suburban family theres no way in hell they would have shown that. I wonder if those newscasters think about how they'd feel if they were being recorded finding out that their children were DEAD. Ugh. This is so sad, I couldn't imagine being the mother of those kids.

First I'd like to say to anyone trying to say SH*T about the cops *** him... They walked into a SLAUGHTER. Samantha was dead on the floor, Kerby has his five year old sister in his arms slicing her throat and chopped her f-u-c-***-ing head off! The cops had every right to *** him, he was lunging at his other sister. I know one of the EMTs that showed up at the scene, who was a tough guy and called me in tears. He and many veteran on the job said they have never seen anything like this.
As for the boy, when he started high school, he wanted to be a thug. He cut class often and mouthed offed all the time, he wanted to a thug. My roommate is a teacher at Milton High and taught both him and Samatha whom everyone called Princess and was a sweet as can be. She was 7 weeks away from graduating high school, wtf?!
THIRDLY - He had a job just this past winter at Toys R' Us. He got fired for not coming to work and whatnot.
Lastly, the mother was working her a$$ off nursing and the cake was on the table for when she got home to celebrate the little one's birthday. She was out running the street not raising her children. She woke up that morning to go to work and expected to come home that evening to celebrate her daughter's 5th birthday and she came home to bloodbath, at the hands of her own child.
So there are no excuses. Something snapped in this kid's brain. I wouldn't be surprised if there were drugs involved simply because "normal" people don't do that kind of stuff.
All I know is I cried last *** & I cried today. The pain that family is feeling is unimaginable. My prayers go out to them and everyone at Milton High.

I am a resident of the Bosotn area and happens to lives around the corner from where this incident happen. IT DID NOT HAPPEN AT THE BIRTHDAY PARTY. This happened on Sat afternoon 3/28/09. Wjile both parents were at work and the grandmother was doing laundry in the basement.The birthday cake was from the 5 yr old b-day party she had at her Daycare on Friday. OK I'm probably going to say something that people wont like, but here goes. I saw this story and immediately thought that the family was white. You only see white folks acting a fool like that. But then I found out that not only were they black, BUT they were HAITIAN!!!! Now, I have had my experiences with Haitians, and I am not saying anything can be connected to this case, but Haitians (from Haiti) really believe in forms of Voo-doo. Now, I have seen somewhere where a person believes that their family members or friends might have been affected (to say the least) by some sort of bad spirit and a family member must take them out. And the fact that he decapitated this young girl makes me believe that there is something very evil spiritually going on here. It doesnt seem right. The grandmother was home and she was in the basement this whole time this thing was going on. That sounds very convienent to me, the elder of the house!!! And the parents, for those of you who dont know, were at work when this happened. I dunno people sounds like some real evil *** going on. Either he thought that the sisters were compromised in some way, or he was made to kill those girls like that. You just dont decapitate a child like that just because you are angry that you didnt get a job come on!!!! This is what happens as a community when we don't take mental illness seriously. That old school anti-counseling mentality needs to die...Too many black folks talking about "I ain't letting a stranger up in my business" or "I ain't gonna have people thinking i'm crazy"....This man was clearly sick and if these issues had been met with an intervention this tragedy doesn't happen.

Yeah, I've been following this story since it happened. (I'm local) That *** is crazy and I can't help but think that all of this could've been avoided... You can't sit here and tell me that no one knew that there was something wrong with dude. He def been crazy and never got the help that he needed. Prayer helps, but GOD can't do it alone... He should've BEEN getting PROFESSIONAL help. Too bad those poor girls had to die and him too, for that matter. That family still loves him, no matter what. I don't think that I could.
Decapitation, that is nothing you want to see. I saw a friend of mine decapitated. This is horrible, I heard this man was recently relaeased from jail and had history of domestic abuse. I wouldn't let any family member in my home that has been released from jail. They are not mentality STABLE. You see this time and time again.

@ wild100s.I agree with what you said but just had to add that the devil has no power other than what you give him, so there was no one protecting these children spiritually . There were definately some other forces at work here, the aspect of voodoo is very strong in Haitian culture, not saying that they practiced it but I am sure they were around it in some form. And although innocent,let us not forget that the devil's time is *** and getting *** on this earth. There will be even more acts of desperation to come, just watch (fight) and pray,lest you and yours will be devoured as well.He seeks to devour anybody -the unwilling and the ignorant, young and old, black, white whatever! If you dont have God you are exposed to these things, and not saying that if you have God these things wont come, in fact they attack harder and from every angle, but at least you have some defenses. These kids were defenseless and not protected and that is how the devil has access to make their deaths anyway he saw fit. I feel for the families who will miss their beautiful daughters, but rest assured, they are in a better place than here with what is to come. It is only gonna get worse.
This is so, so sad...I pray that God give the family and friends of this family strength to get through this with a sound mind. They need to remember--to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. No one knows the fate of the killer, he may have had time to repent for his sins. THIS is absolutely HORRIFYING! That boy was MENTALLY ILL, and MENTAL ILLNESSES are ALWAYS SEEMINGLY UN-NOTICED in the BLACK community because we like to "pray" it out of people. It's FINE to do that, but there needs to be some scientific preventative measures that go on also! First things first, the mother's an IDIOT, I understand thats her SON (which many hood and urban black mothers treat as their boyfriends emotionally) but she should have PUT HIS *** OUT or in a MENTAL HOSPITAL years ago. I do not feel sorry for HER, I feel so much sadness for the surviving child, because she has to LIVE the rest of her life with the memories of that day and she had NO SAY SO in how the living situation was..the mother did! I ask that God hold tight to this young child and protect her thoughts and help her recover and normal as possible from the dark thoughts and *** that will invade her.
