: For weeks MediaTakeOut.com has told you that Rihanna WAS NOT fully cooperating with the Los Angeles investigation against former boyfriend Chris Brown. Now the rest of the news agencies are finally starting to catch on.

Sources say Rihanna "wants the whole thing" to go away and isn’t helping the district attorney prepare his case against Brown for allegedly beating her to a pulp in the early hours of February 8th, the day the of the Grammy Awards.Not sure what else they need Rihanna for. They’ve got her statement and the pics ….Apparently Rihanna is angry, they say, that pictures of her bruises were leaked to the press. She’s not happy, too, that she was quickly identified as Brown’s victim.
So sad if true. I have seen too many friends and at least 2 relatives go through domestic abuse and it needs to stop. I had a childhood friend die at the hands of an ex who she always said, "He would never do anything to hurt me or my kids." Well he ended up killing her and her new boyfriend in the house while the kids were asleep. If he hits you once, chances are very good he will do it again. Like I always say, "A deaf person can hear logical advice better than a fool in love."

Chris career is farr from ending. Nothing is over untill God say its over. He has plenty of fans who will still support him, plus he's young, he CAN AND WILL make a comeback. People like you make me lagh with the whole "his career is over" BS.

Here is one full definition of the verb "maim"
1. to deprive of the use of some part of the body by wounding or the like; cripple: The explosion maimed him for life. 2. to impair; make essentially defective: The essay was maimed by deletion of important paragraphs.
So, homeslice, "maim" is actually a very appropriate choice of word in this case. Even your selective definition stated "usually" depriving use of a limb. The beating hospitalized the woman, kept her from the Grammies, and her forehead had bumps on it. Her face WAS disfigured. It was not permanent, but she was temporarily maimed. Also, in speech, sometimes we use a term that may be a slight exxageration, in order to make a point.

Just like in the R.Kelly case. The victim was on R. Kelly side knowing full well it was her ans it was wrong! Dont blame the system for R.Kelly being free, the girl wanted no parts of it and wanted it to all go away!
They can still proceed with their case but what's the point??? Let them kids live their lives. Being dragged through the media is punishment enough for both of them!!!!

She probably hit him first which is the general reason for him not losing his career.. and she's staying with him.. his career is not over.. If they want you in, and you do it right.. you're good..
