: MediaTakeOut.com has some troubling news. It turns out that last week seven girls were expelled from the Oprah Winfrey’s all girls boarding school in South Africa. Word is the 7 girls were caught raping other students.

The paper reported that the girls allegedly tried to force pupils into relationships with each other, and to touch each other intimately.It’s so sad that all Oprah was trying to do is help children … and she gets caught in this mess…The Times spoke to Masechaba Hinne, a mother and grandmother of two of the expelled girls. She said that she received a letter from the school saying that [the girls] “have been found guilty of physical contact of a sexual nature with another pupil on campus … bullying other girls and … not telling investigators the whole truth”.
[She continued,] "How does a girl sexually molest the other? There are no boys in that school," she said.
Yesterday, Winfrey’s spokeswoman in South Africa, Lisa Halliday, said: “We consider this to be a confidential school matter.”
Rape has been used as a psychological weapon over there A LOT, and I bet a LOT of those girls/women are psychologically a mess.
Rather than ostracize the girls for it, they need to get to the root of the problems. There is an entire generation of women who will be mentally and sexually messed up for generations after what has been done to them. Our leaders need to confront the problem head on. Women and very young girls have been all but abandoned over there.
This kind of thing is known to happen at all female boarding schools. The person interviewed,who made the comment asking how such a thing could happen without boys being there, sounds so naive. People are just blowing this up because Oprah is involved but this is happening right here in this country in all girl institutions as we speak.
If you remember when Oprah was first asked why she is building a school in Africa when we need help in this country. She replied Oh because they appreciate it more. I hope this teaches Oprah that there are good and bad people everywhere and not to judge by thinking people in another country would appreciate something more that others. If you find kids that want to learn they will learn if given the reasources.
Well I guess Oprah should have done a little more research on the "ALL GIRL SCHOOL SYNDROME" I guess just because you put a group of same *** young women in the same environment it doesn't necessarily help them focus on academics and suppress their sexual desires. Image by wenn.com When news of Chris Brown’s alleged assault on girlfriend Rihanna first broke, so many questions went unanswered. What really happened the *** before the Grammy’s? Was there prior abuse? Is Rihanna pregnant and did the couple really get married in Miami during their reconciliation?
A source involved in the investigation is speaking to Hollyscoop exclusively about the details surrounding the *** of the alleged attack, and what Rihanna really told police in her statement. Hollyscoop has the scoop on never before published details surrounding the Chris Brown and Rihanna assault investigation below...
New Details Surrounding Police Report
Contrary to what sites like TMZ had previously reported, Rihanna did not tell police that she was the victim of “escalating violence.” TMZ reported: “Multiple law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the *** of the attack Rihanna told cops she was the victim of escalating violence -- and the perp was Brown.”
However, a source involved in the investigation tells Hollyscoop exclusively that in the reports, Rihanna confessed there has only been two other incidences in which she felt threatened, but this was the first time Chris retaliated. Rihanna told investigators that the first incident occurred in Europe three months ago. It was a verbal dispute, which led to Rihanna slapping Chris Brown. In self-defense, Chris put her up “against the wall” and told her to calm down.
The second incident occurred when the couple was visiting Rihanna’s family in her native Barbados back in August 2008. She described the incident as a verbal dispute, and added that no one was assaulted. According to the source involved in the investigation, the *** of the alleged attack, Rihanna attacked Chris after reading a text message sent to him by a former lover.
The situation escalated and resulted in Chris’ alleged attack on Rihanna. Chris turned himself over to the LAPD on February 8 and was booked and later released on $50,000 bail.
The Call for Help
Although initial reports suggested that a female made the call to police, according to the report, it was a Rabbi who lives in the area. The unidentified man reportedly heard the confrontation outside and called 911, not knowing he was about to make a report about R&B’s biggest stars. He came outside when he heard ***. “She was screaming out of control and he was extremely calm,” read his statement, adding that Rihanna “was not screaming for help, she was just screaming.”
Why She Took Him Back
Rihanna’s family and friends were all shocked to learn that she had forgiven Chris and the couple had reunited. After experiencing a very public fall out, why would she take him back? The answer is simple: “She loves him,” says a close friend.
The couple started communicating with each other while Rihanna was in Punta Mita, Mexico with friends celebrating her 21st birthday a few weeks ago, says our source.
One week later they reunited at P.Diddy’s $18 million mansion in Miami to work through their issues. Diddy’s ultra private home served as the ideal meeting spot for the couple, but he was not involved in the reconciliation. Diddy, who was in L.A. at the time, heard that Chris was going to be in Miami “working on music” so he offered up his home. But that was the extent of it.
Family members and insiders cite the couple’s immaturity, she’s 21 and he’s 19, as the reason for why they fight so often. And the same factor could be used to explain why they are getting back together. Meanwhile, a source close to Rihanna tells Hollyscoop that reports that the couple got married in Miami are “100% false.” She is also not pregnant with his child.

This happens a lot in all girls school. This is nothing new it just gets reported because Oprah started this school for theses girls. Not only girls all boys schools have the same problem . I know because I went to a all girls catholic school them girls were always expermenting with each other sexually. This happens in whit and black same *** schools
its a cultural thing i say. over there. America is just suppose to be more civilized or sophisticated about it, we date and court. those people over there consider this normal to fondle and walk around naked. now THIS is what ms oprah might conside: if a American-type school is gonna be setup over there then they need some American-type values or at least rules over there. so it can operate similar to an American school without all the fondling. but otherwise all that *** is normal to them. they aint doin nothin no different. they probably feel more free now in that fresh new school to fondle each other in a nice comfortable broom closet or something.
I feel bad for these girls but I have no sympathy for Oprah. Oprah is finding out the hard way that behavior issues with children exist every where not just in black American ghettos. Her whole reason for opening this school was because she stated that all poor black American girls cared about were boyfriends and material things. She claimed when she asked African girls what they wanted they wanted they said they wanted an education. Obviously they lied. Oprah is learning the hard way they want more than an education at that school.

This is a serious issue and, in my opinion, has little if anything to do with ***. It's about abused mindsets. Ask any victim of abuse of any kind.
Oprah, herself, was abused by men. And while I don't think she has a disdain for black men, she sure has had her issues with them since she was a child. Perhaps she, like so many others, just wants to see the King in men and instead of being a mother figure, as so many other women have been, kissing the baby's knee when he's down, no matter how long he's down and crying about it, she may be disgusted at his seemingly inability to get up and move forward.
Also, placing these girls in an all girl school was a means of protection because it is not common in this area for girls and women to get an education. They may have been discriminated against or abused in that scenario almost certainly if the school were co-ed. You're talking about a country where men rape babies because they think it can cure AIDS.
Education is step 1 to curing ignorance. Oprah hasn't done anything wrong. It will take time.

I am wondering if maybe Oprah will consider just buying uniforms and books/supplies for the students instead of the whole school. Students are not allowed to go to school there without a uniform. So supply the uniforms with a check and your hands are clean.
Some schools even have programs where books 1yr old are donated to Africa. Again these are just thought. There are so many ways of helping people without going to the extreme. But kudos to Oprah for trying.
