: Last week the industry was buzzing with rumors that Destiny’s Child would reunite for another album. The group, which consists of Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, still owes their label one more album under contract.
But according to one of MediaTakeOut.com’s snitches, the new album will not likely have Beyonce on it. According to one of our label insiders, Beyonce is reluctant to record another album with her former members.
The insider told MediaTakeout.com, “I actually agree with Beyonce. Doing an entire album with [Kelly and Michelle] doesn’t really make sense.” The insider added, “She’s at the height of her career right now – why take a step back.”
The label insider offered his take on what the new Destiny’s Child album will look like. The tipster told MediaTakeout.com, “The new [album] will either be remixes of old songs - or maybe Solange will be the new lead singer. I know [Mathew Knowles and co.] was floating that idea a while back.”
As strange as it sounds, we actually like the idea of Solo being the new head of D.C….

And that will be the one destiny's child album i do not own. Don't get me wrong I do like Solange. I have her album too. Her sound, however, would not mix well with the group. They are really smooth and she is a little rock/jazz sounding. Not a good mix. She should stay on her own and continue evolving her own sound.
P.S. Isn't she the one that popped off at the news caster saying she did not want to be associated with her sister's (and brother in laws) success. I don't see contradicting herself like that.
Kelly stay away from Destiny's Child Group. Focus on your own image and career. It's over for the group and Bey has been in the limelight every since. What has Mr. Knowles done for Kelly and Michelle? His focus is only on his daughter Beyounce. Kelly or Michelle hasn't have a hit record since the group ended. Solange is crazy, can't sing or act.
well, it's true that solo will partake in the group, why is it that she has to be the LEAD SINGER? Why can't all three just EQUALLY sing? Either that, or how 'bout Kelly or Michelle take more of the leading roles in the songs? After all, Kelly was there from the beginning, and Michelle was there far longer than Solonge. First of all Michelle and Kelly's solo albums didn't go so well so why would people pay to hear them sing together w/o Beyonce. As messed up as it is, of course Beyonce isn't going to go back to DC. What would be bomb is if the original Destiny Child members (Latoya, Latavia, Kelly and Bey) got together and did a album-although I know that sounds far-fetched because of everything that has happened between them.
