: MediaTakeOut.com just learned that Ciara is now defending herself against attacks that she swagger-jacked Beyonce in her latest video. As we were the FIRST SITE IN THE WORLD to report, much of Ciara’s new video is strikingly similar to stuff that Bey’s done in the past.
But according to Ciara – she ain’t the swagga jacka. Here’s what she told Honey Magazine:

first off, ciara didnt call beyonce petty. she called the situation of people saying artists copy other artists petty....get that right and second, Beyonce announced in August 2008 in a press release that Thierry Mugler was designing her tour costumes. Ciara's Go Girl video didn't come out until September 2008, and that's the video she's referring to that she was supposedly inspired by Mugler in. We can also take into consideration that Beyonce did a robot theme at the BET Awards in 2007. Go Girl also does the robot theme. Another thing, Ciara's costume wasn't an authentic Mugler it was a knockoff version created by the same stylish that Rihanna has.
