: Mathew Knowles has been taking a beating in the press - and this time it ain't by us.
MediaTakeOut.com reported to you last week that Russell Simmons posted a blog suggesting that Mathew fathered singer Kelly Rowland while cheating on his wife Tina Knowles. And yesterday AOL posted a blog claiming that Solange was DROPPED from Geffen Records.
So what does Matty do to fight back against all these accusations - he goes to MediaTakeOut.com to put out the TRUTH!!
Here's the release that Matty and his peeps asked us to put out to y'all:
Mathew Knowles founder of Music World Entertainment states that recent rumors of Solange Knowles being dropped are completely false. Knowles states, "Our joint venture with Music World and Interscope/Geffen/A&M is very much in place for Solange. We are currently experiencing success at video outlets and radio with the current single T.O.N.Y co-written by Ceelo of Knarls Barkly and Solange. Ceelo and Kid Cudi also appear in the video".Well there you have it... Glad to be of service to you Mr. Knowles.Knowles adds, "it's very disappointing in recent days the amount of false statements in the marketplace from Solange being drop to me [being] accused of being Kelly Rowland's father".
To tell you the truth, the only child that needs a paternity test is Beyonce. She looks absolutely nothing like her dad. I know she took after her mom, but Matthew has strong features and Beyonce got none of them. Poor Solange, she's cute, but she has a little too much of Matthew in her to compare. And Kelly may not be his child, but she sure has that nose like him.

Hi...so as an MWE insider, I really wanted to inform you all of some things that were on my heart. I came across a picture and cd today that I hadn't seen in a while and it made me think. Matthew Knowles has really done some very foul things here. I understand a lot has been said about Michelle, Lyfe and Kelly no longer being apart of the team but did you all know that even before they all got hip to this foolishness, Matthew had an r&b girl group here?! Yes! Very dope group. Three chicks, incredible singers and dancers, gorgeous,non dc like, soulful, urban, very very talented from what we all experienced. They were signed a couple yrs ago, and unthinkably messed over by Matthew. I remember many people being interested in pushing them HARD yet Matthew would ask for unheard of amounts of money for people to work with them, so deals wouldn't go through. Deals that were meant for them, he passed to Solange or passed on altogether. He kept them locked in contract and they would use their own resources for shows and a lot of production. He invested very minimal amounts of money in them yet he was nervous that they would end up taking one of the many deals offered to them behind his back. He overlooked them and his male group (one of whom left and is currently in a popular male group today), and placed Beyonce and Solange first. he even has a female rap artist who is AMAZING, grinds to no end, gets no love and has been under MWE for at least 5 years! It gets better....she's Solange's BEST FRIEND! There's way too much to tell but it absolutely gets worse! Anyway, the ladies finally became enraged and asked for their walking papers and left not too long ago! I've gotten many phone calls about the girls being released and finally being able to take full advantage of everyone interested and matthew began to tell industry folks that they were DROPPED to save face and harm their career, a lie that he verbally stated he would tell once they left. The group is still together and from what I hear and see are grinding pretty hard, and getting into some great situations. As to not be too incriminating, here's a hint: they have a song on itunes and a ringtone. So does the rapper. No one ever speaks of them, the male group he screwed for 4 yrs, Project Popstar, (the Making the Band type project he had with several girls whom he wanted to form into a super group then DROPPED them ALL abruptly when he saw the aforementioned girl group), Sunshine Anderson, Mojoe, Aqualeo (all artists he signed and were either dropped or angrily wanted to be let out)...people try to keep quiet at MWE as Matthew fires easily and is quick to bad mouth and ruin careers and lives. Well isn’t this a juicy way to wrap up a day of gossip. Sources are reporting that Kelly Rowland isn’t the only one of Mathew Knowles kids *snickers* without a label home. Apparently Solange Knowles was just dropped from her home at Geffen Records as well. And it happened right around the time the rumors of Kelly being dropped from Columbia first started. The reason why the official statement from Columbia Records came out so quickly about Kelly leaving was not just to confirm the rumors and make the situation and drama go away. It was also to deter the attention from Solange as she quietly got dropped from her label as well. Here’s what a source at Geffen told BV:
Geffen did a one-off deal with Music World Entertainment for Solange and wasn’t interested in doing a new contract with her. People at the label really liked working with her because other than her infamous news outburst in Las Vegas, she was a constant professional. There were challenges dealing with her camp, but Solange was great to work with. In the end, the CD didn’t sell despite Solange’s countless high profile appearances.
Womp womp. Honestly, Solo’s Hadley Street Dreams album was hot and I still don’t know why it sold only 138k units to date. Yet and still, her label isn’t trying to keep her there. Her manager and dad Mathew has been shopping Solo to the folks at Epic Records. But get this: That’s the exact same place Kelly Rowland has been in talks to go to. Epic’s new Prez Amanda Ghost had approached Kelly about joining their label after rumors started Kelly was leaving Music World/Columbia. It wasn’t hard to figure out that once Kelly parted ways with Papa Knowles as manager, the label Papa Knowles is tied to (Columbia) would drop her pretty quickly thereafter. So Kelly and Epic had been meeting for a long time now and she was close to signing an official deal with them. But that’s until Papa Knowles entered the picture. According to BV:
Amanda was really into signing Kelly and then Matthew started meeting with her about Solange. I’m told he used his influence in the Sony system with Beyonce to complicate the existing offer to Kelly and then the deal ultimately didn’t happen.

When Janet came out with the control album declaring her inependance she let you know.."take it or leave it"...When Michael came out with the Off the wall album with Quincy...he was letting you know "I got this"...yes they contribute their work ethic and success to their father...but it came a time when they said..."We are going to let the world know that we can stand on our own and here it is"...When you saw Michael and Janet the world stopped and you didn't have to be convinced of the talent...

Hey so true. Some people have it and some people don't. Beyonce will never be a legend. She can't act to save her life! She is not a crossover triple threat artist. She is just a singer and that's were she should stay!
Real legends start small and continue to excel over YEARS throughout their careers and excel at EVERYTHING THEY DO like Queen Latifah, Diana Ross, Dorothy Dandride, Mc Lyte, Mos Def just to name a few. Beyonce is trying to skip a few steps and her stans are not requiring her to be better.
