: MediaTakeOut.com just received some earth-shattering news. Apparently a member of Germany's leading female pop band has been arrested and charged with infecting a man with HIV.
Here’s what went down. MediaTakeOut.com learned that German prosecutors claim that Nadja Benaissa, a 26-year-old singer with the multi-platinum German group No Angels, had unprotected sex with three men in 2004 and 2006. And now one of the three men is HIV positive - allegedly as a consequence of his sexual relations with Benaissa.
Nadja has been arrested and charged with dangerous bodily harm. MediaTakeOut.com was able to confirm that she’s being kept in custody because, according to the investigating judge, there’s a risk she would repeat the alleged deed.
No Angels is Germany's most successful girl band, with five million album sales worldwide. The group was formed in 2000, when they won in the Popstars – and American-Idol type talent show on German TV.

Benaissa, who is half Moroccan, half German, beat 4,500 hopefuls to win a place in No Angels on a reality TV show in 2000. The band – Germany's answer to Girls Aloud – have sold more than five million records, including four number one singles and three number one albums. Their latest album is due to be released this summer.
Benaissa was arrested by plainclothes police at a Frankfurt *** on Saturday evening where she was due to give a solo concert. She was handcuffed backstage and taken away in an unmarked car.
The same evening a judge issued a custody order, due to the "risk of recidivism". She is being held in a one-person cell in a women's prison near Frankfurt.
Aids campaign groups today called the authorities' action a "modern witch-hunt" against sufferers of Aids and HIV.
The organisation German Aids Help (DAH) said while it did not want to condone Benaissa's alleged behaviour, the way in which her arrest was carried out and her HIV status was subsequently made public was unacceptable.
"This case fits fantastically into the tabloid and media landscape," said Jörg Litinschuh, spokesman for DAH. "It centres on a famous woman, sexuality and possible guilt. It's a form of modern witch-hunting and I hope it's not an indication that the politics of dealing with HIV and Aids is becoming more restrictive."
The man who is alleged to have brought the charges against Benaissa said in an interview with the newspaper Bild that he had known nothing of her illness during their affair which took place over a few weeks in 2004.
Under German law anyone convicted of knowingly infecting another person with HIV faces a prison sentence of between six months and 10 years for grievous bodily harm. If the victim dies the sentence rises to a minimum five years' imprisonment and a maximum of life imprisonment for manslaughter.
There is no case if it can be proven that the other party knew of the infection and was sober at the time. If the infected person knew nothing of the infection at the time of sexual contact there are no grounds for prosecution.
Last *** three other members of No Angels met for a crisis meeting. Supporters of the band, whose most famous hit was Daylight in Your Eyes, posted distraught comments on fan websites.

Contracting via drug use is extremly low, which suggests that these women are contracting HIV from male partners, yet there are fewer men with it. So, this is why I suggested that women have to really be doing a lot of sleeping around, otherwise the numbers would be greater for men, and less for women. (If our theory is true)

Someone above said the 2nd girl in the photo is too *** fine, well that's the one who is hiv+. When I pulled up photos of this woman, my teenage son said the same thing, about how fine she is. I then told him of her hiv status and he quickly changed his tune. Along with the DL element, our sisters have to realize that we are contributing to our own demise. Not just DL men . They can't be the totality of the problem. No way! We can not assume that all of these men are giving away HIV to us in alarming rates because they "sleep" around and we are just recipients of their poor behaviour. A lot of women are also trying to "keep" up with men now, and are very, very , very promiscuous. Many of them appear on disparaging shows like Maury Povic having slept with countless men, in hopes of finding their child's father.So, it's safe to assume that these women have used "unprotected ***" if they are seeking the child's father! This is just one public example, but there are countless personal stories I have been told as a stylist by women that make me want to pass out. Women, we need to stop thinking that we can compete with men as it relates to sexuality. We need to alway present and behave as ladies, because a man aquires a notch on his belt, while they refer to you as a *** and a hoe. Both in their music and personal conversations about you.
Having older brothers that I heard talk mess...I've just never wanted to be "that" girl.
