Maybe it is just that time of the month and dude caught her off guard. But notice after he asked about her anniversary and what her and husband did she diverted and then when asked about giving credit she burst into tears. So probably has something to do with her mom and the fact that maybe her marriage really sucks.

She must have had a horrible anniversary. I think that is what set off the teary episode. Then again she is an actress and is just playing us all.
