: Yesterday MediaTakeOut.com quoted a NY Daily News article which said that Swizz is paying Mashonda $3,500 a month. Well apparently the standards over at the News are falling off – cause that was just a straight up lie (shame on y’all).
According to MediaTakeOut.com’s EXTREMELY reliable sources, Swizz is paying Mashonda $3,500 a week (or $14,000 a month). On top of that, he’s also paying for the house, all utilities, child care, and both of Mashonda’s cars (a Bentley and an Escalade).
You know what - It’s bad that they’re getting divorced and all, but things happen. So as long as Swizz does right by Mashonda (i.e. break her off properly), we’re just gonna put all the messiness behind us and move forward.

Like I said yesterday, Swizz got it like that? If he really had it like that he would do an Eddie Murphy and just pay like 10 million flat out. The most telling stat in all of this was that he pays for CHILD CARE. So apparently she isn't just at the crib raising the youngin, they pay somebody to help with that. Although I don't agree with the way they hooked up maybe it was meant to happen that way. Alica has a strong head on her shoulder and Maybe Alica empowers him or gives him reason to want to do more with his life. Sometimes in life we end up with the wrong person because we think they cute or we love them blah blah blah. But at the same time you want a person that will help you advance, lift you up and be you support when you can't support yourself. Last year, Swizz was featured on Forbes Richest Hip Hop Stars and I think they said he was worth about 30 or 40 million dollars.
So, if she gets $14,000 a month that means that she'll get almost $170,000 a year.
Now to regular folks $170,000 a year is a nice amount of money, but I guess, if you were the wife of a man who's worth $30 million you might think he's small changing you.
