: MediaTakeOut.com just got wind of an article published in the very QUESTIONABLE New York Magazine about the “upper class” black culture in Martha’s Vineyard.
According to the article’s author, many of the bourgeois Blacks in Martha’s Vineyard are upset that Barack and Michelle Obama are coming to the island. Apparently they have “too much class” to share their little island with the most powerful and influential couple ON THE PLANET.
But what’s more upsetting about the silly article, published by journalist Toure, is that he put a very RECKLESS quote in it – with one black woman calling Michelle ‘ghetto.’ Here is the exact quote:

You cant blame Toure for just reporting if indeed this quote did come from an actual person. To imply that he should not have included this quote is reporter's bias at its best and censorship at its worse. This is one (or perhaps many peoples) opinion of the First Lady. This is why there needs to be a separate category for these people. The one drop rule is a hindrance to the progress of Black people because it falsely groups American Blacks as a homogeneous racial group when that is not the case.

I like Michelle Obama and all, but I don't let my fondness for Michelle obscure reality. Hillary was around Michelle's age by the time Bill become POTUS, and by then, she had a much longer resume, made partner at her law firm, got a Presidentially appointed position in the Carter administration (before Bill was governor), worked on the Nixon impeachment proceedings, etc. Michelle, well, not so much. I know Hillary made law review at Yale. Did Michelle at Harvard? Hillary probably would've gone to Princeton, had they been admitting women at the time, but Princeton didn't admit women until 1969 (I think). By then, Hillary was graduating #1 at Wellesley, which back then, was the best college a women could attend. There isn't a doubt in my mind that Hillary would have been just as successful at Princeton had she attended. When you think about it, Obama's social secretary, what's her name, Desiree, has accomplished more than Michelle, and she's black. The same could be said for hordes of black women with Michelle's degrees. So it's not always about race. Yes, white privilege has aided Hillary in getting where she is today, but at the same time, the reason why Michelle hasn't accomplished as much and probably will never accomplish as much as Hillary may just be because Michelle isn't as ambitious or clever. And there's nothing wrong with that.

My goodness, this is not the first negative quote that we have heard about Michelle Obama. In fact, there have been journalist who directly attacked the first lady.
It appears he was interviewing residents of Martha's Vineyard to get their take on the President's visit to the island. A good journalist presents different perspectives on an issue which in no way means he agrees with them.

Um . . . that downtown Little Rock firm was the, whiteshoe, Rose Law Firm. What part of Hillary was getting Presidentially appointed positions and served on the Watergate committee before Bill was ever elected Governor, didn't you get, or did Bill somehow have a hand in that too? Get it right. Hillary joined the Rose Firm before Bill was elected governor, and of course she got the job after she married Bill. Why the hell else would she have even been in Arkansas had she not been married to Bill. The only thing that would have kept Hillary out of the firm was an extra X chromosome, not because she wasn't qualified. Regardless of whether or not Bill's being elected governor had something to do with Hill being made partner, Hillary was probably the only partner at Rose that could boast her credentials (Watergate/ Carter Administration Legal Defense Fund head, etc.), and she was a woman. Her initial political connections came about because of her own design. She put herself on the political map with her valedictory speech at Wellesley. In theory, Michelle would have had a network similar to Hillary's given where they went to school, but Michelle utilized it differently.

Hillary Clinton is clearly more accomplished than Michelle the gardener. I respect Hillary way more.
BTW, Hillary Clinton is much more accomplished than Barack Obama. Who really has very little political experience and NO Executive experience. Clinton would have fixed the economy by now. Obama has made it a more of a mess. I swear that idiot has no idea what he's doing. I loathe the Obama administration and I'm sick of fake ass fashion model Michelle.

Even with Hillary Clinton's "prestige" and "accomplishments", she did not receive the Democratic nomination, and is therefore, not the 44th President of the United States.
And, even Hillary Clinton would not be as naive to say she would have "fixed" the economy or solved any of the other crises facing our society today in such a short amount of time.
President Obama has not only shown intellectual savvy and superb strategy in this short amount of time, he's, most signicantly, shown us he's a brilliant multi-tasker: He's already demonstrated commendable progress by taking proactive and affirmative actions, both domestically and internationally, while at the same time cleaning up and countering the previous administration's eight years of damage and destruction.
Most impressively, President Obama is leading the free world, while still focusing on the well-being of his family and those of others.
So, for all of those persons still refusing to accept that President Obama is INDEED just that-PRESIDENT-"face the music", be patriotic, and personally work to make this country and world a better place for everyone.
It's time to "get unstuck", and stop focusing on what could have, should have and would have been, because IT'S NOT, and apparently, majority of the country didn't/don't agree w/ you. Get on the winning team!
With all due respect to Hillary Clinton, with all of her credentials, experience and connections, allegedly over President Obama, that is, doesn't that appear to make her loss to him even greater and more devastating? Hmm...Food for thought...

I said I'd never travel back to Martha's Vineyard. Oaks Bluff is the Black part of MV and believe me, they are the snootiest n.i.g.g.e.r.s around. Now, I was hated on because my family supposedly 'had money'. I'm just happy that I was never taught to look down at someone because they don't have what I have. I'm glad my parent's taught me to have character.

Born in in the ghetto and might be a little bit ghetto but for the most part know how to carry myself and you'd be hard pressed to find too many people smarter than people like me or the Obamas ..... if Michelle was a little ghetto so what it doesn't make her completely classless, or stupid or inferior.
