: In what has to be the WORST case of financial mismanagement in HISTORY, MediaTakeOut.com learned that NBA baller Eddy Curry’s Chicago mansion is in foreclosure.
Why is this so crazy??? Well because Eddy currently is under contract with the NY Knicks, where he made $10 million last season, and he’ll make $11 million next season.
Eddy Curry's multimillion-dollar mansion in southwest suburban Burr Ridge -- where the former Chicago Bulls center was bound with duct tape and robbed two summers ago -- is now in foreclosure, according to court documents filed Monday.
According to foreclosure documents, that MediaTakeOut.com got a hold of, as of Friday, Eddy was behind $217,502 on his $3.7 million mortgage. Eddy and his wife Patrice took out a 30- year $3,719,316 mortgage on the home in 2006. The interest rate on the mortgage was 9.25% and could go up as high as 15.25%.

Okay what kind of idiot signs a 30 year mortgage on a 3 million dollar house, when you are making 10 million a year?! Your career ma last 10 years if you're lucky. That's insane!!!! Why not pay it in cash, or a two year deal, so that you pay 1.5 at the beginning of one year, and 1.5 at the beginning of the next. Bozo the clown describes this guy. Do you know why people let their home go into foreclosure?... So they don't lose money. If he bought that house for let's say, 10mil, and now it's only worth 7mil...he'd lose or basically pay 3mil for a house he doesn't even live in. If he lets it go into foreclosure he loses nothing, he'll just have bad credit for 7 years. But what does that matter, he makes 10mil a year, he can buy everything cash.

And your answer is! Yeah he makes 10 mil on paper but after taxes, agent fees, and all the other bills, it equals out to just about what the house cost 3 mil. And keep this in mind, there are incentives in contracts that have to be met, if not then you don't get the whole 10 mil. So your money is not guarnteed
