Mj's memorial is is huge but to deny the inaugural? I don't get it. I understand she was mourning but that was a once in a lifetime deal and 2 weeks later she was at the superbowl. That's crazy.

She would have wanted to be flawless for such a historical event, but couldn't guarantee that bcuz of her mental state. She was even nervous singing for the first time in public after her tragedy at the Superbowl.

It was the timing of the Inauguration that precluded Jennifer Hudson from singing. I'm sure she would have been honored to do so if she could have pulled it off. However, she was in deep mourning and seclusion over losing her family. Have a heart, and apply some analytical skills sometimes.
